DAYTONA BABY!!!! Today is New Year's Day in NASCAR world. First and second practices for the "Sprint Unlimited" going on tonight. Race is tomorrow at 8 on fox. We are making the trip to the track tomorrow, just to shop. Next Sunday is the 500. Can't wait!!!! Go Harvick!!!!

Glad to see that. I think Glenn kinda got lost in the shiffle of everything. I saw him a number of times with and without the Eagles. He was very good every time. I liked his solo catalog and he could hold a stage on his own.

^ Nice job, gentlemen. You've hit the nail on the head. It's almost like the sport needs to lessen the padding to lessen the gravity of the hits. I don't know, but I do know these guys need to be smart about their money and get out as early as possible. It is so sad what is happening to some of our childhood heroes. Other sports are physical like the NFL, but they have less padding and therefore, I believe, the trauma to the brain is not as significant. Farwell "Beast Mode" and "Megatron", you were fun to watch - even when Johnson put up those numbers against Dallas! We'll never forget the BeastQuake of Seattle when he broke what 16 tackles against the Saints?!? See ya in Canton!

I understood it earlier. Having the Super Bowl weighted as essentially a double pick never occurred to me. But, like I said, it doesn't matter. I had a great time and truly appreciate your record keeping and reminders. Thank you! Counting the days until the draft.... Entourage movie (again)

WOW this is amazing...nobody unhappy since 11/11/15! After working all day, then stopping at the grocery, fixing dinner for Walter Jr. and I, putting away dishes from last night, doing left over dishes from this morning, etc. I go out back to take the dog out and see our fence has blown over in a 10 foot section. The post broke at the base. This is with 15 min of sunlight left. So I quickly dug a new post hole and stood the fence back up so the dog won't run through the neighborhood, etc. I'll finish the repair tomorrow, after another day at work.....

It was a good race, marlam. The Corvettes raced for 24+ hours and finished a half of a car length behind one another for the win in their class. 4 tenths of a second. Today starts the beginning of Speedweeks in Daytona. Practice for the shootout (Sprint Unlimited) is this Friday. Then a full slate of practice/racing on Saturday, with qualifying for the 500 on Sunday. Unfortunately we were rained out of the dirt races this past Saturday.

Yeah, he could've had Andy send his picks in for him. Congrats Paul! I still don't understand the scoring system for this, but that doesn't really matter. Had a great time Strider, thanks for everything you did!
