  1. What did I tell you, at Buffalo week 16. Get ready for an ass-whoopin'! Week 14 at Green Bay, no surprise on those two - then home week 17 against the foreskins! Open against NYG, have NE in Dallas after our 4th week bye (yuck) and Carolina on T-giving. 3 away games in Dec - bring it on!
  2. Surprise, surprise...birds of feather. Those of us "know it alls" actually enjoy and respect this forum and the regulars who post here, ie Strider, Sue, and Nutrocker. I find it ironic that the poster whose bitching about others not being able to voice their opinion, is the same who shouts down others opinions in various threads. But we all know your names and history. So that explains everything. If you don't like/enjoy this forum and its members then go away, nobody is holding a gun to your ego driven heads. But you can't and that's why you keep returning. So have a go at me, I could give a sh!t. I personally enjoy their commentary and so does most of this forum. It's not about agreement, it's about respect. Back to the thread...I limit myself to listening to 6/21/77 because it's my favorite show. So I don't get burned out on it as I've been listening to for almost 30 years now. I prefer it and the 27th to the 23rd for various reasons. But I guess I'll be put in front of firing squad for voicing such!

  5. Cancer takes another great man! RIP Steve Byrnes. Condolences to his family and friends. He fought long and hard and will be missed by many who have watched him for decades. NASCAR named last Sunday's race after him and they gave many, many tributes to him before, during, and after the race. I am so sad over this. http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-media/articles/2015/4/21/steve-byrnes-passes-away-age-56-battle-with-cancer-nascar-on-fox-reporter.html

  7. This doesn't mean he will make the team or anything. If they were that excited about him, they would've signed him when he had his workout with them a month ago. If/when he gets cut it'll be "poor Tebow, getting black balled by the NFL once again....". If he has the talent to help someone win, he'll be there. If not, he won't!
  8. Two reasons they brought him in: 1. They need arms to throw balls to their receivers during off-season workouts (which are starting soon for them, I believe) with Sam Bradford still on the mend and 2. With their unconventional system Chip Kelly likes to run, Tebow would actually be one of the few who could fit in it.
  9. Thanks Strider. The waiter brought us glasses of champagne because he overheard us talking about Mrs. Walter's treatment ending and his mother went through breast cancer treatment also and thought we should toast it.
  10. Weather delayed NASCAR Cup race from Bristol, TN on FoxSports 1.
  11. Don't Stop - Fleetwood Mac
  12. Since that is a god awful drunken picture of me. This was taken last month of me and my mother, while she was staying with us, and will better answer your question of which person I was in the other photo:
  13. ^ Nice! Sounds fun! Just hanging out today after being out late last night at our school's fund raising event. Nice to see a lot of people we've known for a long time and sprinkle in some new ones! Fun night.
  14. Snow crab. $7.99/lb. and very tasty might I add! Usually get king crab, but that price was too good to pass! Now making a pot of spaghetti sauce for dinner tonight and eventually will be used for a baked ziti later in the week!
  15. Sounds divine, cp! Just about to break into a couple of pounds of snow crab clusters, while watching the start of the race at Bristol, TN. Paul, they're on sale at Publix today.
  16. If it's on principle alone, you are most certainly "out of time". These days it's all about maximizing profits, at all costs. I guess you really have to look within for the reason you are purchasing it in the first place!
  17. Congratulations pph! Hope everything works out for you!
  18. Alright, finally here it goes... I have never posted a pic of myself on this site. This picture contains a picture of me (not a good one either) and one of my co-workers (we were both extremely drunk at a VIP Sheryl Crow concert for the opening of the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Theatre) and the mayor of Orlando - with the Physical Graffiti background. You can figure out who is who...?
  19. Congrats Kiwi! I have some Aussie friends over here in the U.S. and I love that jet black hair! Very cool and unique! Hope you continue to post, you bring the youthful enthusiasm we often miss around here! Are you a JBT or Xavier Rudd fan by any chance?
  20. The irony of the latest posts in this thread is unreal.... Btw, andrew r, I do agree with you. I collect items, outside of Zeppelin, that are supposed to be limited. However, that appears to be a totally subjective term once the limits are surpassed. I've since given up on the idea I am going to be one of....(enter the number here)....and have come to the realization that it is limitless as long as the demand dictates. I do still enjoy my collections and do not look at them as investments in the least.
  21. Hehehe! I think that's the first time I've heard you curse! It's funny, my father-in-law - who's a HUGE sports guy - thinks all officials/umpires are on the take, is now best buds with the head of the MLB umpires Joe West. Ironic, for sure!
  22. I grew up with the Islanders, so I'd be very happy to see them advance for the first time in a long time! No offense to the Caps fans!
  23. Watching the O2 reunion concert on AXStv, channel 340 if you have directv.
  24. Sounds good cp! Today Mrs. Walter and I are going to.....Field Day with my son's class!
