  1. Not sure what your point is about Jimmy having LIVED in Miami. Knebby said he LIVES in London and in the interview it was stated that Jimmy LIVED there for just a short amount of time. You were speaking in terms of current time and she said that was not true, which is correct. So, get over it already. Back to the point of the thread..... the interview was nice to hear - thanks to Deborah and Sam for the heads up on it/posting the link for those of us at work! So looking forward to seeing Robert in July!!!
  2. I know it doesn't help you much, but there are a few tickets left for the Clearwater show the night before the Miami show!
  3. ^ I think Sam already answered that for us.
  4. Ditto. This is my favorite show all-time. I am very interested in hearing it brushed up a bit.

I watched a bit of the F1 yesterday, that is an amazing street course. So tight and the tunnel is very cool. So what happened with Michael passing under caution and then being docked 20 seconds? Has the champ forgotten the rules or was he just being overzealous? Seemed like a lot of wrecks, compared to most F1 races or was it due to the tight course they race on? This Saturday, the boys are racing for no points and $1,000,000! Should be a great night, especially with so many of the top tier drivers not even qualified for the All-Star race, which will make the qualifying race that much more intense. Also, Sunday is the big first-time induction into the NASCAR HOF. Should be a great event. I can't wait to visit it this summer and seeing, once again, my all-time racing hero Richie Evans' famed #61 modified.

Just read the news about Vickers being admitted to the hospital for blood clots all over his body, including near his lungs. I hope you get well soon, Brian! Well, it's time for the Monster Mile at Dover. Jimmie Johnson will pick up another win this week and piss off Lunacy a bit more, I predict. Looking forward to the first induction for the Hall Of Fame next week in Charlotte. Looks like an amazing tribute to NASCAR they have built there. Until next week....have a good and safe weekend!
  7. Good move going towards treatment. Once we realise this is more of a medical issue than strictly a legal issue (especially in the case of prescription drug addicts), then we will be able to free up our justice system for violent criminals. If the users/addicts are violent or reckless while doing the drugs, they should be incarcerated just like everyone else - not for just carrying a dime bag of pot in their pocket, etc.
  8. I will be attending the show in Clearwater. I have never been to the Ruth Eckard Hall where he is playing but from what I can gather, it only has about 40 rows in it! So looking forward to seeing Robert again, it has been since Miami '98 on the Page/Plant tour that I last saw him. It will be my 9th Plant show overall. Peace.

  10. I am sure the May 19th show is one of the shows being held back. I have heard that one of the Minnesota shows was a great night, but obviously can't confirm that. Anyway.....
  11. Yes, Animals was a Waters album too. But the songs were worked on by the Floyd for a couple of years, during concerts, before being put on an album. So in writing credits it was all Waters (except for Dogs with Dave), but you can tell the music is more a band effort as Pink Floyd than The Wall or The Final Cut ever were. Just my opinion. Got my tickets for the 16th of November @ Tampa.

Let's see..... Gordon is 5th all-time in wins? Much like Johnson winning races at the end of a race with getting his car right and also savvy pit strategy - Gordon amassed the same type of success in the late 90's with the same type of blueprint. Not feeling too sorry for a guy who had all of the success Jeff has. The "Racing Gods" have a way of evening things out, in the long run. On a "happier" note - HARVICK IS LEADING THE POINTS!! I know it's only May, but what a turn around from last year!!!
  13. Of course Gilmour wouldn't want to work with Waters - look how he was treated. Plus "The Wall" is basically a Water's album anyway. I am very much looking forward to seeing this show in November. I have seen the Floyd (w/o Waters) a few times and this will be my first experience with Roger. Perfect opportunity to see him!
  14. Do you EVER miss a show, Wolfman??? I saw PG back on his Us show and it was amazing. I wasn't really a fan, until that evening. Glad you had a good time and keep letting us in on all the great shows you are able to catch up there!
  15. Xavier Rudd and Izintaba - Koonyum Sun
  16. Wolfman, I went to livenation.com to check out the pre-sale information, but it is not very clear. I know that iTunes has an offer if you buy a version of The Wall through them, but what was the deal with the credit card pre-sale? Thanks for any info. you can provide.
  17. How about leading into Sick Again on 6/21/77? He disappears in the The Rover transition and then comes back in. Also, 6/23/77 when they stop the show after TSRTS?

All I know is...... way to go HARVICK!!! I've been waiting for a Cup points win from him for how many years?! Great job Kev., that move was done to perfection. Footsteps, Kevin is not going to Penske next year - his sponsor (Shell/Penzoil) is going to be Kurt Busch's in a #22 car. Actually Harvick poked some fun at Shell after the race saying, "The best part of this win is that our sponsor is leaving while we are winning." True Kevin fashion to stick a fork into them. Anyway, I do like the green/white/checkered finish (even with 3 of them) because it adds another element to the strategy of the race. I know it's there just to appease the fans attending the race and paying mucho $ for their seats. But, I have been to many races where the cars just crawl around the track for the last 5 laps to finish under caution and that sucks! Racing purists don't like anything NASCAR does to make it more exciting, but if they want to compete with the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc. then they have to keep things at a higher interest level. Onward to Richmond.....
