  1. Now to wrap up a varied day of poptastic tunes, something to clear the missions:
  2. .... so young lad what did Jimmy Saville do for you? "He asked me to milk a cow blindfolded"
  3. Isn't methadone an Opiate?? It may work but you will still get withdrawl symptoms
  4. Not nice Reggie. It's the same here in F. I worked picking fruit in Northern Vic from Jan - March in the 90's. They considered that to be WARM
  5. Well done Julia - what did you win? Oops missed the bit where you said what you'd won
  6. Oh yes. One of the all time great guitarists and album to boot? Thanks Ally
  7. I read that California is in for a "Pineapple Express"
  8. Dinner we had Smoked bacon and chestnut mushrooms in a rich tomato sauce. Liguine and Parmesan shavings. 2 Small glasses of an Aussie Shiraz
  9. Like the inside of our Smeg . But i think it will be very sunny
  10. Thankfully it's stopped raining. We are now in a clear run of sunny weather for a few days but it's coming from the North. Brass outside @ 4 degrees.
  11. The weather is so dismal, grey, wet and just awful, thought I'd bring a bit of sun in with this:
  12. Mates in decorating the spare room, I am sorting out the decorations for the - ahem Christmas week. My office is in the attic so Mrs CP warned me on the pain of death to fish them out. Gives me a chance to see if old Pricilla is ready to pop her clogs. No not just yet. I think it will be Christmas before we taste her fruits. Cooking a Spanish chicken dish so must go and score some chook.
  13. First rate Joe. Couldn't have come at a better time?
  14. Rolled boned leg of Roast Lamb, Roasted Parsnips and Spuds, Sprouts. Mint sauce. Bottle of Rioja. Maybe a sweet of Greek Yoghurt and Passion Fruit on top (if i can fit anymore in)
  15. Not the best FEB I've seen. I suspect Porky was staying in the Travel Inn next door?
  16. As predicted dry and sunny. Plenty of blue sky and no wind. temp @ 8. It took Mrs CP 7 1/2 hours to get home. She arrived home at 10 oclock !!
  17. Think Sandy ! I can't recall the weather being this bad ever. Mrs CP is stuck in North Wales. All the roads are closed because of flooding and she is well and truly marooned. It takes 2 1/2 hours on a good run to get home and there's no where to go. As I type it is gale force winds and driving heavy rain. Jeez when will it ever stop? The South West of England is flooded and it's getting very serious. The forecast for tomorrow is dry but according to reports it's going to get worse over the weekend. Climate change is showing it's ugly face here big time. The summer was a washout and it never stops raining.
  18. I will be visiting Dick Turpin next week I think. Another wedge of my English Pounds for a few minutes work
