  1. I'm so glad this thread got resurrected.
  2. Agreed. He looks better now than he has since the 70's IMO. Especially at the 02 show you can really see some elements of the younger Jimmy there.
  3. Before I became a fan of LZ, I had the stereo-typical idea that they were a guy's band. "In-your-face-guitar-jeans-and-tshirts" kind of group. I didn't realize the depth and diversity of their songs and the flamboyancy of the way they dressed and their stage moves. I wouldn't call them girly, but I did see them in a completely different light than I had before. Mind you, in the 60's and 70's it seemed androgyny was in.
  4. I've never heard of any of those other albums or artists apart from RP/AK and Radiohead. Me thinks I need to broaden my musical spectrum.
  5. Under My Wheels - Alice Cooper
  6. That would look great as desktop wallpaper.
  7. Even though it's unofficial, I'm sure I will still buy it when it comes out. I hope there's at least a few good photos in there. I said the same thing when that Robert Plant book came out at the beginning of the year and it was an absolute piece of crap. I hope this one is a little bit better (shouldn't be too hard).

I look forward to being able to sleep in the next morning!
  9. I can't wait for him to tour again. I regret missing his last solo tour. He's always been one of my fave singers.
  10. That was my ambition for the longest time. I wrote and wrote and wrote when I was younger... poems, novels, etc. Now I find myself more drawn to graphic design, but still haven't done anything about it.
  11. For those who didn't read the Fantasy thread, you may be thinking "why the hell is there a box of Triscuits photoshopped in his hand"?
  12. I love the '75 Page hair. Not too long, not too short... JUST right!
  13. That's awesome Miss H! I can only imagine what your face was probably like looking at him.
  14. That looks like a pretty cool book. Can't wait to check it out!
  15. I swear, if I have a bad day, all I need to do is look at this picture.
  16. A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles
  17. 1975. Front row at any night from Zep's Earls Court shows. But I would have just loved to have been a part of the whole Swinging London scene in the mid to late 60's. Seemed like a truly magical time.
  18. Encouraging messages from good friends like MissHoneydripper.
  19. It was a tremor, wasn't it.
