  1. I'm re-reading John Lydon's autobiography "No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs". I need to stop re-reading things, and find something new!
  2. Her daughter Frances Bean seems so mature and well rounded. Thank god.
  3. Definitely a highlight of the show IMO.
  4. This is similar to the "4 shows in Toronto" rumor a few months ago. 2 months from now another city will supposedly host a Led Zeppelin reunion show.
  5. Getting back in touch (sort of) with an great friend who I haven't seen for 21 years.
  6. My speculation would be that VH1's first choice would've been Led Zeppelin before all those other bands. My guess is that Zeppelin's camp vetoed the idea. That's just my theory though.
  7. I shouldn't laugh... My vote goes for either Jim Morrison or Andrew Wood from Mother Love Bone.
  8. I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. One week since... I would love if more shows in Canada were added in the Fall. I'm really surprised there's been only one Canadian show. I would think Vancouver may be added since the new Fall dates are up around that way.
  9. I think you could be on to something here. I'd go!
  10. The Flintstones. I STILL watch that all the time. I remember coming home from school at lunch time to watch it with my mom, and then head on back.
  11. Right now it looks like my next concert isn't until Henry Rollins in October. I hope something else comes up before that!
  12. I've had many great concert experiences thankfully. One that comes to mind is seeing Motley Crue in 2000 and being front row center. Nikki Sixx came over and sang a few lines of a song directly to me. I don't think I breathed or blinked during that moment. One of the worst was seeing Megadeth in Buffalo in 1995. I was near the front and somehow my friend and I ended up getting "caught in a mosh". Luckily we made it out quickly and unscathed, but it was NOT a fun experience.
  13. Glass Houses was one of the first albums I remember listening to as a kid. From what I can recall, every song was good. But I'll need to dig it out and see if that's true.
  14. Creed. Boring boring boring. Just typing their name makes me want to yawn.
  15. Agreed. It set a perfect tone for the start of the show.
  16. Re-post from the other thread: You listen to them (or a Zeppelin-related song) 24/7 for the last 7 months. And when you listen to another song by another band it just doesn't seem "right". When you're not listening to them, you're watching them on DVD or on your iPod, and when you're not doing that, you're reading about them in any sort of biography that mentions Zeppelin. You buy Zeppelin shirts that prominently display the band members faces or name and purposely don't wear a jacket outside so you can show off. You spend a small fortune on concert tickets to get the best possible seats just so there's a chance a certain band member may look at you. In more than one conversation during your day you mention the words "Led Zeppelin" or "Robert Plant". I uh... know someone like that.
  17. Great review! Sounds like it was a good show to be at. I like the Whole Foods remark. Do you have a link to that interview? Sounds like an interesting read!
