The early shows / (warm up) gigs in feb 75 should have been professionally (multi tracked) recorded, as they contained some songs which were later dropped in the set and rarely, if ever performed again. R😎

Looked for it at 4 different stores yesterday and can’t find it anywhere (will have to order it online and wait a few more Days).. Retail is trying to kill the cd format altogether. It’s superior to over compressed audio formats online by far and it comes with the art work, booklet, etc. 🙁 R😎

Good for him. He’s earned the right to put out Led Zeppelin blankets, if he chooses. He’s 75 years old, so he’s more than earned his retirement (if that’s where he is). He’s had his studio session career , his career with the Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, The Firm, soundtracks as well as solo work/ Coverdale/Page, Page & Plant, Crowes, etc. . I’m just glad he did the reissues with bonus discs a few years ago and we have the internet for other unreleased tracks / live concerts. I’d rather hear about him being productive (guitar and amp endorsements) than to hear about his less than worthy next door neighbors shenanigans. Long live Jimmy Page. R😎

Sirius XM channel 106 Volume has been running several Jimmy Page (from 2014) & RP interviews as well as other special programs centered on JP / Led Zeppelin all week & throughout this weekend to commemorate his birthday and Led Zeppelin 50th Anniversary. On one show, they played a trivia game called, “older or younger then Jimmy Page” (age 75), where the on air personalities (Mark Goodman - original mtv video and Alan Light (former editor for vibe/ rolling stone) would team up in teams of two (along with their producer and another personality) and compete against each other and callers. Jimmy Page himself, was impressed when he flew over to see Jimmy Sakurai play in Japan years ago. Jimmy Sakurai pays tribute and concert video on YouTube proves he helps keep the music of Led Zeppelin’s live style and feel alive whether it be with JBLZE, Mr. Jimmy , etc. R😎🎸👍
