drpete
Being from St. LOUIS and having a former gf of mine actually go to this show, I absolutely love the sb recording!! A fabulous performance on par with the NY/NJ shows right before. LZ was EN FUEGO that week!
paul carruthers
It's been awhile since I gave the whole show a listen, but I think 2/16/75 gave us the best No Quarter ever...
Sue Dounim
No Quarter certainly is the highlight, but this night's Heartbreaker is also excellent. Generally a pretty good show, but the opening numbers are a bit shaky and Jimmy's playing gets a bit sloppy every now and again.
Trapper
Excellent show! One of my favorites from that tour. Try the Bertha Remaster; even better sound quality. I love Over The Hills...from february / march '75.
Melcórë
Used to listen to St. Louis Blues all the time, back when it was one of the few circulating 1975 SBDs. Will have to relisten to it soon.
Amstel
No Quarter certainly is the highlight, Trampled Underfoot is the real highlight. In My Time Of Dying and Sick Again are quite good too.
Strider
Oh yeah, I love this show...once I got Godfatherecords "Rock Saint Louis Roll". When I first got EVSD's "St. Louis Blues", it didn't impress me as much as 2.12.75 or 2.28.75. But the improved sound of the Godfatherecords made me hear the St. Louis show in a new light. nick2632
I've only listened to Rain Song and Kashmir from this show, which has to be one of the greatest performances of Rain Song!! "Now listen to me! Are you listening baby?" I will definitely give No Quarter a listen..
Walter
This discussion made me throw this show into the car. Still love it! Really good Kashmir!
