LedZeppfan77
Where did this happen? Oh yeah...good ol' FLORIDA! The NFL is turning into a Looney Bin. Easy does it fella! The Raiders and Dolphins make the Bills look like choir boys. Stabler's team that won the SB was easily the best Raider team of all time. The Mad Stork, Belitnakoff, and a coach named Madden. I liked those Raiders. I must add I loved watching Lamonica. Those old games vs KC. Edited July 12, 2015 by LedZeppfan77
jimmie ray
^ What happened - this Bills OC beat up a bunch of kids, because they sat in his lawn chair, or something like that? Was Richie Incognito with him?

Was Richie Incognito with him? The story is they were at the beach, the kid messed with their chairs and the coach punched the kid in the face and told the kid he would kill his parents if he told what had happened. jimmie ray
^ You know, Walter - someone here did predict the Bills would be "kicking ass" this year! Did the OC have to stand in a hole, to reach the kid's face?
Walter
He's not the OC for Buffalo - the old OC for the niners is the Bills OC. But still....

LedZeppfan77
He's not the OC for Buffalo - the old OC for the niners is the Bills OC. But still.... well they are calling for his head in the local papers. Better it happened now. Its not like he is the head coach Walter. I would refrain from the laughing. Look at your own team and their headaches
jimmie ray
At the level that I really follow all the nuances and behind the scenes stuff in football, I wasn't even aware of, or at thought about - that the position of "Offensive Line Coach" even existed. If the league didn't pull in so much money, I guess it probably wouldn't exist. As an intensively team orientated sport, I almost wonder if the overall chemistry and level of play would be better, with fewer specialist coaches? LedZeppfan77
Give Brady 6!!!!!!
jimmie ray
^ How about they let Brady play, no suspension - but their team is given way under-inflated balls for the season, that just fold up when you grasp them? Wouldn't that be great, Cornelius?
LedZeppfan77
I thought this ruling on Brady's appeal was coming down last week? What the hell are they waiting for?
paul carruthers
I am really sick of all the "deflate gate" BS. Hopefully as the calendar turns and preseason kicks into gear, there will be something else to talk about. And will the NFL cave & reduce Brady's suspension? Hmmm... Strider
Give Brady 6!!!!!! You're out of your cotton-pickin' mind. Follow the science. As has been avidly demonstrated before, here and elsewhere, the numbers in the Wells report don't hold water...it's fraudulent. I thought this ruling on Brady's appeal was coming down last week? And will the NFL cave & reduce Brady's suspension? Hmmm... Isn't it obvious what Goodell is doing? He realizes he has painted himself into a corner with a shoddy investigation. He knows the Patriots have the numbers and fair-minded folk on their side and the NFL would lose if this went to court. So he has to reduce the penalty, if not expunge it entirely, and he is waiting for a time when people are distracted and the media less available...say, a Friday afternoon?...to announce his decision. The longer he waits, the more the average person will be sick of hearing about deflategate and just want to get on with the season. I bet Goodell waits until the end of July or August, just as preseason camps get into gear.

When you get the money these guys make, you should not be cheating regardless of what it is or how petty you may perceive it as being. Brady and Belechick are cheating bastards. jimmie ray
^ Too bad they don't have an over / under on the pressure of the balls - you could clean up, Cornelius!
DAS
We shouldn't be talking about ball deflating because everyone involved in the "spygate" con should have been expelled from the league to maintain the integrity of the sport. The guilty have only proven that they will relentlessly pursue more and more ways to "gain a competitive advantage" [cheat] and will never learn their lesson ever. Poor Fred...he's from solid stock, a real salt-of-the-earth guy. You hate to see tragedy befall a man like that, but the way he turned his grief into something positive and give hope to others less fortunate is heartwarming. paul carruthers
I'm watching First Take on ESPN2, and Stephen A. Strider
Ok, so it looks like Brady's 4 game suspension has been held, as well as the rest of the Patriots penalties. Either Goodell is crazier than I thought or the NFL has information they have withheld from the public. Either way, mark my words...Indianapolis is TOAST when Brady comes back from suspension to play them.
