Administrators sam_webmaster Posted November 2, 2015 Administrators Posted November 2, 2015 Interesting tidbit... mentioned in their Fillmore East contract (May 1969): "no part of Led Zeppelin's performance, sound and sign, may be taped, filmed or otherwise recorded." Quote
bcarter690 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 How did the no taping policy work out? Quote
kingzoso Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I like #4. For a band that was formed less than 1 year when this contract was drawn up, Led Zeppelin already had "first choice in placing their instruments on the stage". Nice!!! Quote
Strider Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I am thinking #8 was probably standard in their contracts. I find #3 interesting. Quote
anniemouse Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Did the band ever add any musicians onstage for the more complex pieces (such as added percussion, keyboards) or were they a cohesive four piece unit from the get go. I ask as #3 is fascinating. # 5 # 6 are fascinating as well. Quote

Deborah J Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 ^Wow, Sam, interesting. A lot different than the riders on the hotel side. I noticed that all the scratched through parts were not initialed....I know any changes on the hotel riders if they were scratched through had to also be initialed by both parties as well. Then computers came along and you just revise them when all was finalized. Quote
chillumpuffer Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Assuming then that this contract didn't apply to the 24th April show? Quote
Brigante Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Don't think I've seen anything like this for such early shows. Cheers for that! Quote
luvlz2 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It's so interesting to see this, thanks Sam. Quote
