Its there for the taking for England.  Beating France might be the toughest obstacle left?  If they can, they can beat the hell out of Morocco and then maybe a revenge match vs Croatia and Morovic.  I do not feel good about Argentina in that game.  I could not believe the damn Dutch scored to tie it.  Don't they ever stick to the time in these games?  I had a bet on correct score.  Argentina 2  Netherlands 1.  The refs made sure to fuck me on that one.

I broke my World Cup blackout to watch the England vs. France quarterfinal. I like both countries enough to overcome the stench coming from FIFA, Qatar, and all the usual WC bullshit.

I'm not superstitious (honest) but last nights game had the curse of "itv" but England lose more games that are broadcast by "itv" than The BBC.  Iirc the percentages are something like 8 out of 10 are wins on a BBC broadcast wheras "itv" it's the complete opposite. 8 out of 10 are losses.

Anyway, Kane's second penalty, I just knew he was going to miss it, even said so to misses JTM. It was then just a wait for the final whistle and the inevitable tears, I didn't hang around to find out, as soon as the whistle blew I changed channels, I hate "itv". I couldn't care less who take the cup, wouldn't surprise me if it was Morocco with their brick wall defence.

Time to get back to real proper footie, The Prem, fuck international football.

Bullshit.  England outplayed them, outshot them 2-1, and should have won the damn game.  Two shots headed for the top corner of the net were saved.  The first goal by France, though a tough shot, could have been stopped by Pickford.  Kane's miss killed them too.  I cant believe he missed that.  If they make the save, so be it.  You have to get it on goal.  How the hell does he do that?  England were the better team. I hope Argentina wins but they probably will fuck  it up.

Bang on CP,  the Saka foul was I believe forty seconds before the France goal, play should have stopped for a VAR review. I'm done too, will not be watching the remaining three games.

I might put them on out of shear nothing else to do at that time of day. But I could care less either.  England should have won.  I do not know how Kane just kicks the ball into the stands. It's not a given that a penalty awarded will be a penalty scored, look at Brazil, how many did they miss in their shoot out, three ? Imagine the pressure Kane was under, to me he looked nervous, I just knew he would miss and he skied it, well over the bar, nerves got the better of him.

I'll root for France to win as I sure as hell don't want Argentina or the other countries to win. But I won't watch.
