Great win by our defense today, but the jury may still be out on Tua. Next week will be another tough opponent in Arizona...

I had that game on the other channel and Colin of the Herd called it.  The Rams 5th trip across the country was tough on them.  I give Miami credit as they are getting better, but they are not as good as the Rams if all things were equal.  Not yet.  There is a chance that the game in Buffalo on January 3rd will be for something.  And both teams could get in because of that 7th wild card.   I am not sure what will happen in the AFC South. I really do not know how good Indy is?  They are up and down it seems but their defense gets a ton of praise.  Our D has been bad vs the run, but lets not forget that Milano and Edmunds and Wallace have not been healthy one week.  Next week vs Seattle we should be at our best all year.  So I am hoping that our D wakes up like they were two and three weeks ago and I do not see Seattle stopping us with their secondary.  I am expecting Josh to throw but Moss has been very good.  He did a number on NE.  I hope the Jets beat them.  Can you imagine Billy boy?  He would not take his mask off at the podium after the loss in Buffalo.  We must work on improving our run defense.  We were a top rated D the last 3 years or so.  So was the move to Tua the right move going forward? If they get beat in Arizona will it be the right move?

I'm not going to second guess the move to Tua yet, but obviously the Dolphins brass feels the future is now. Whether or not that means the playoffs in the present is still up for debate, I guess. but--speaking for myself--I would like to see some better play from Tua as far as stats & maybe getting the ball down the field in the pass game.

I give him a pass for the Rams game, but next week should be more telling...

The Rams were caught playing their 5th cross country journey and the schedule maker was out to get them.  YES, I AM making excuses because they are a better team than Miami right now.  Guaranteed.  Miami won that game but if they played the Rams out west tomorrow, I assure a far different outcome.  Miami is on the rise.  So are my Bills.  We are ahead of them now and I do not think that is going to change this year. Ill go out on a limb and Ill put it in blood.  Jan 3rd blood in Orchard Park in the freezing cold.  We have bigger fish to fry.  Like KC and Baltimore and Pittsburgh but we have to get some things right on defense first.  We can.  This will be the healthiest the Bills have been on defense assuming Milano is finally healthy and Edmunds too?  If that is the case, with Wallace back, I expect the football world to be shocked when Russel Wilson does not find guys open down field and will have to run.  We need to put a spy or two on him.  We now find out how good a coach McDermott is.  As to the Dolphins, no reason for them not to try and make the playoffs.  7 teams get in. We have no idea how good Indy really is?   If they beat Tenn they upset the apple cart  The Raiders and Miami and Cleveland are going to battle for Wild cards.  Yes the division is still in play, but NOT FOR NE.    Miami is the only team we have to watch out for. But we would have to lose every one of those competitive games and they will have to steal another like the Rams game. Like in Arizona.  We play the Cards next. Miami has a bit softer schedule than us as they still have the Jets I believe?  We have them right now not only in wins but we beat them once.  Good luck Paul

They did. It helps that San Francisco's locker room resembles a M*A*S*H unit.

Yes, SF is missing all of their star players.  Not really the real 49ers team.  It was the team that was blown our by Miami.  Seattle in Buffalo today for a very rare visit.  Too bad no fans.  I have to look it up, but I do not think they have played here in ages and likely can count on one hand how many times they have come here.  Tampa has only played here once ever!

I like the Bills chances.  I believe Josh Allen will light them up on offense.  They do not have a very good defense.  I would not read too much into their good effort last week vs a banged up 49ers team.  The question in this game is how well the Bills D plays.  We are without Milano who is now on the DL.  Maybe they should have put him there weeks ago?  We need him back eventually.  "So the run defense might hurt a bit without him.  But Seattle is not a patient team.  .They a a pass happy team.  That should play against them in Buffalo because the strength of the Bill's defense is their secondary.  That likely means many tuck and runs by Russel.  McDermott should know this and must have a spy on him if not two. If they can contain his running, the Bills win.  I would be shocked if they can hold us under 35 in this game

Looks like Antonio Brown brought his karma to Tampa Bay. Karma is a bitch.

I could not believe that score when I checked it.  I must confess I did not watch the game.   Bill Belecheck must have gotten some satisfaction from the stinker Brady put out?   If I could get to the sportsbook today I would be tempted to take the under tonight.  Neither team can score and the Jets, as bad as they are, actually have a decent secondary.  I would think it might be a 20-6 type stinker in favor of NE who looks to avoid losing 5 in a row.  Probably have to go back to the 70s or 80s or to the Boston Patriots for that to be found in their record?  Either way, both teams are toast.  Pittsburgh were lucky to escape Dallas with the win.  I was hoping they lost after knowing they could not cover the spread.  Russel Wilson took a ton of hard shots to the body yesterday.  The Bills defense  showed up and played very well. The last TD by Seattle was sort of a garbage time deal making it look closer than it was.  Pete Carrol was not the only one surprised the Bills totally abandoned the run.  I am really surprised they did not hand the ball to Moss or Singletary at least a few times.  The Bills and Seattle were in complete pass mode.  The running game was totally shelved by both teams

Glad Buffalo beat Seattle, but the 49ers pretty much stink.

No, the 49ers are all banged up.  .When healthy they can play with anyone

The Bills go on the road vs another little known opponent.  If Miami can beat them,  so can we.  I like our chances.  Miami is going to find the Chargers in a foul mood.  I believe they and the Falcons have lost more heartbreakers than any two teams.  This kid Herbert is going to be a handful.   I am not yet sold on the Dolphins having arrived.  Moving in the right direction yes.  Contenders?  Not yet.   Baltimore is up next for Billy boy.  Ha.  Have fun with that Belecheck.  The Ravens are going to have their way with NE and their shaky run defense.

I didn't see last night's game either, but I love that score I saw. I must tune in Sportscenter to see those highlights...

I guess your Dolphins got a break as the Cardinals missed a FG they should have made?  Anyway, we have to go into the desert and try to stop Murray.  We need to contain him.  We wont stop him completely Im sure.  But they wont stop us either I doo not believe.  This gambling picks show was just on and one guy picks both of our teams to get whacked this week.  The Chargers have lost a ton of heartbreakers.  We have to go 3 hours west.  I still think its tougher for West coast teams to play 1 pm East coast games, as it feels like a 10 am game for them, than East coast teams playing out west?  I think that would be an interesting statistic if any exist?  I have never heard any but I just heard that they found that there is a 10 percent increase in road wins with no fans in the stands due to Covid.   No 12th man in Buffalo.  The weather however will be unaffected.

So nice to see Tennessee get their ass's handed to them

The only problem with tomorrow is there's virtually nothing to watch at 1pm; unless I watch Aaron Rodgers make lunch meat out of the Jaguars....

😏

That game would not be on here.  No way.  Giants game is a certainty.  Texans and Browns or Buccaneers game are possible on the other channel?  I have to check.  But based on your location Paul, I agree you get the Green Bay game.  Go Jaguars!!!!!

I think we both want to see the Ravens put an ass whipping on Billy boy.  As for our teams at 4?  We are both being picked to lose these games by some of the experts.  IN our case, the travel west.  But worse for us is Wallace is now out due to Covid.  Starting CB who is playing great.  This really sucks.  And the other CB too.  But our all star CB White is a go as far as I know.  Milano might be done for season? Wo knows? As for the Dolphins, they are playing a team that has been snake bitten.  The Chargers have been in their games.  Right til the end but have found stupid ways to lose. They will not be an easy out.
