I know its about one of the guys trying desperately to get a woman's love and the title comes from a black lab. But my friends and I think the woman is one of Jimmy's old girlfriends. "Dreams of you all through my head" He can't get her off his mind. "Hey, baby, oh, baby, pretty baby Tell me that you'll do me now Hey, baby, oh, baby, pretty baby Woman won't you do me now" Pretty self explanatory. "Spent my money, took my car Started tellin' her friends she gonna be a star" Maybe they get together? But it turns out she is a real *****. "Started tellin' her friends she gonna be a star" makes me wonder if maybe it's about groupies or girls who want to get close to the band just because they are rich/famous? The song is about something completely different - basically love, sex, and thinking too fast about girlfriends when you're young. Or summit like that.
