Sibh23
Heartbreaker :30 - :30 achilles last stand 2:30 - 2:34 and theres other one but i cant remeber it might just be me but idk On ALS, he probably is singing at an slightly higher register on that line, perhaps a slight Falsetto but I'm no vocal expert so it's hard to tell. On Heartbreaker I don't hear anything strange, apart from stretching that part of the verse, with some echo. Sounds really natural and average for me. ninelives
its like he slurs his words or something but i'm not sure its probably just my hearing Don't really think that's something "odd" per se. Robert doesn't always pronounce each word when he's singing. Sorry, my ears don't hear anything odd there!
BlackDog71
I don't hear anything. Hey....who knows....maybe we all are wrong? Either way...I like that you're listening to his vocals so closely.

Oswaldo
I hear what you mean on ALS, but nothing on Heartbreaker. Hell, I'd be more creeped out when Percy does "that" sound at 5:29 - 5:33 on For Your Life. I know why he did it though

Katuschka
its like he slurs his words or something but i'm not sure its probably just my hearing Well, then he probably slurs his words... But what does it have to do with the voice?

Oswaldo
Robert makes a snorting sound. Thanks, SuperDave! I'll have to listen for that.... Sharon At the time Robert's voice was heavily affected by his unhealthy condition after the accident in Greece. I recall that most (if not all) of the album was recorder while Robert sitting on a wheelchair. Most likely there was a joke behind that sound, given Plant's sense of humor, as one would find it difficult to come up with that snorting out of the blue in the middle of recording an album.
