  1. Whatever he says does not sound like it starts with a "G" and definitely sounds like it starts with a "D". Again, go to 6:40 in the youtube video in my first post and listen for yourself. Maybe he said "dental people".
  2. Remember, RP was part of the supposed pact with Satan too. P.S. I never said that's actually what he sang. I said it just sounded like that to me.
  3. Awesome. So I guess I shouldn't ask how many people he on back in the day?
  4. No, just being honest with what I hear. I think we all agree that Jimmy is not, or never was, a Satanist BUT he definitely liked to play the dark angle card back in the day. The bow solo alone is creepy as hell the first time you hear the live version. I personally loved the whole devil/666 thing as a teenager and to be honest, still do. I miss the whole mystique of Zep when I first got into the band. I think the internet really changed that. Back then, you had to hunt for Zep relics like boots, etc. Now it's all at your fingertips.
  5. Everytime I listen to D&C from TSRTS, I swear RP says "Devil people" during the part of San Francisco where he is supposed to say "gentle people". Anyone else ever notice this? Go to 6:40 to hear what I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wewu45XSb00 If you're going to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair If you're going to San Francisco You're gonna meet some gentle people there For those who come to San Francisco Summertime will be a love-in there In the streets of San Francisco Gentle people with flowers in their hair Intro.: All across the nation, such a strange vibration People in motion There's a whole generation with a new explanation People in motion, people in motion For those who come to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in their hair If you come to San Francisco Summertime will be a love-in there Extro.: If you come to San Francisco Summertime will be a loving day

  8. Hey Steve. When and what were the circumstances of the whole fall out between Robert and Jonesy. I know Robert said something to JPJ about getting the limo. Details please. P.S. Did they ever make up?
  9. When the first Firm album came out, did Atlantic publicize that "Midnight Moonlight" was an unrecorded Zep song ("Swan Song"), or did people find out from word of mouth, interviews, etc.?
  10. I hate Rolling Stone mag. They'll give some rap or pop album four stars without a blink of the eye yet criticize the shit out of a rock one (unless it's but their faves U2, Bruce, Bob Dylan, or the Beatles). The worst part is everyone acts like RS is the end all say all (except for the smart people on this site ). F RS!!! P.S. I love Outrider and found both the album and tour very underrated by people. Would have been nice to hear the double album Jimmy planned till that bitch stole all the tapes.
  11. Thanks guys. It's amazing how much leaner Jimmy got throughout the tour. 1977 should have been their best tour but we know what happened (imo it's still Bonzo's best though).
  12. Hey Steve, I heard on "Get The Led Out" that during the '77 rehearsals that some photographer took some shots of the band. There are some of Jimmy with a mandolin and a steel pedal guitar (which he didn't play on tour). Do you know if they are available for public viewing (aka on the web)? Also, could you shed some light on the '77 rehearsals. I never heard much about them and I'm sure these were a little different than the past ones due how big the tour was going to be.
  13. My only wish is that he would go on tour. I'd love to see him live.
  14. I've these guys seven times and they always put on a great show.
  15. I hate the bashing this film gets. I love it and think it's way more entertaining than most of the supposed good concert films of the past. TSRTS rocks!
  16. Hey Steve. Is there any video or audio tapes of when Jason played TU with the band during a Knebworth rehearsal? I'd love to hear it.
  17. I saw him in Philly in 2006. Great show from one of the all-time greats. I love Stevie. The guy is so damn talented as, much like Prince, he can play any instrutment. Plus, his energy for his age is amazing.
  18. Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, was pretty evil. So was Danny Rollins, the Gainsville Killer. He did some really nasty shit like where he would set up a mirror in front of his victims so you would see your own reaction when you 'd find the body. GROSS! To be honest though, I find most of these guys to be a bunch of cowards who'd get their ass kicked in a street fight.
  19. I got some sweet tix today in the presale. October 12 in Philly!
  20. I'll be seeing them in Philly but to be honest, I'm only going since my friend is dying to see them. I prefer to keep the '96 reunion as my only Kiss show. So be it.
  21. It should be called Mick Jones and a bunch of guys a lot younger than him.
