LED ZEPPELIN 3 LZ2, LZ1, The 4th Album, -- PG ITTOD HOTH PRESENCE
-
Well, it should have been more balanced... Then there wouldn't have to be John Bonham shots from Moby Dick during In My Time Of Dying on the Earls Court footage......
-
JPJ looks very cool as usual.... and just like TSRTS and the Led Zeppelin DVD footage, He gets almost zero camera time ... very cool find...
-
I don't know about that. Alan White is pretty amazing. Much more simliar to Bonham's style then Carl Palmer. Palmer is flashier no doubt.
-
Obviously there are hundreds... Here's 6. Feb 3 1959 Clear Lake Iowa ..... So I could tell Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper to take the bus. Thanksgiving 1974 - Elton John - Madison Square Garden - Joined on stage by John Lennon. Elton made a deal with Lennon that if "Whatever gets you through the Night" went to #1, he'd have to perform onstage. Part of the excellent live album "Here and There" was from this show.. It would be John Lennon's last major concert appearance. The Beatles rooftop concert.. Only 20 minutes, but imagine walking down the street and hearing that. Led Zeppelin - 1973 Boston Garden. Pink Floyd - The Wall 1980 Nassau. Black Sabbath 12/3/1997 NEC Birmingham... 1st complete show by the original line up since 1978.

I'll 2nd that. If it was President Obama or even his Wife, that's one thing... but his Uncle? I'll bet he's pretty pissed off though...

Thanks for the heads up! 4 incredible drummers no doubt. -
Don't hold your breath waiting for that.... The original Sabbath will play Mr Crowley the day Ozzy Osbourne sings Heaven and Hell. Did you see him on the Bark at The Moon tour? If so it was Jake E Lee. Brad Gillis filled in briefly before Jake joined..

I can't say I'm too surprised.. I couldn't really picture Tony Iommi doing this type of press. Seems very out of character for him.. He must be pretty pissed off. I do hope they make a studio album.

Nice version. I like it. Smart to not re-do it the same as the original. Heart did a nice version. -

My Wife and I saw Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes last night.. We loved it. Great story line, nice subtle tributes to the 1968 film, Charlton Heston and Arthur P Jacobs. Great acting all around. Don't let the Tim Burton version scare you away from this... it's totally different... and much better.
-
I really enjoyed Michael's Drumming. I saw him with Page and Plant in Boston on the WIC tour... How Many More Times was unbelievable.. He really had the Bonham feel down pat and made it his own. Loved watching him play Domino on TV when Page played at NetAid..

Pink - Doing a very good version of BIGLY
-
Andy Serkis who played Gollum and Kong is playing Ceaser. Nothing will top the 1968 original, but this looks real strong. I hope it does real well at the box office. The Tim Burton "remake" was a big disappointment.. and I'm a Burton fan.. Ed Wood is one of my all time favorites.

They are my 2 favorites, but I'd have to give the nod to Robert DeNiro for Raging Bull.. not my favorite movie he made, but the performance and the transformation... packing on 70 pounds for a movie role? Al Pacino never went that far. DeNiro's Al Capone was perfect.. Pacino's Jack Kervorkian was amazing as well.. It's a shame they didn't do more together.. Heat was very good, but they were only in 2 scenes together ... Obviously they weren't in any GF2 scenes together. Righteous Kill wasn't that great. DeNiro had Joe Pesci as an amazing foil... Pacino lost his perfect foil, John Cazalle.. "You have to answer for Santino Carlo" "Get out of my sight" "Hey Frank?! You a piece of sh*t" "That Guy's soft" "But not a Snitch!" "Who do you think we are? Baggage handlers!" "I kill a Communist for fun. But for a green card? I'm gonna carve him up real nice" "Fredo. You're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again... Ever." "I don't want anything to happen to him... while my Mother's alive" "You insulted him a little bit" "Drinks are on the House" "The f*ck dented my shoes" "It's delicious, Delicious" "Looks like someone we know" "What the f*ck's the matter with you?" (repeat 15 times) "The hoof" "See ya in Church" "What'd I do"? (repeat 10 times) "You're just a lot of talk and a badge" (repeat 100 times)
