  1. Yeah, wasn't sure if this section was for people who had died recently or general remembrance. I felt the anniversary of his death was quite worthy of mention.
  2. There's obviously little point in trying to deal honestly with people like you. But amuse me: give me an example of "chanting bullshit and changing my target". Since I've done it "many times" (according to you), shouldn't be hard, right?
  3. It's not a question of fearing the unknown, it's a question of learning from hard experience that the media, politicians, technocrats, etc. have lied repeatedly about a great many things for a very long time. So, it's a question of acting rationally and sensibly.
  4. Hard to say, but since the audiences of the 70's were as stoned as the band it's quite possible. I think on one of the LA recordings someone shouts "we've had the guitar lesson" so I'm guessing not everyone was impressed.
  5. Tommy Bolin RIP Deep Purple - The Definitive Mark IV Concert (Come Taste The Band Tour) - YouTube
  6. Could I get a link to the show too, please? Thanks.
  7. OK, I regret the comment and I apologize. But the fact is, Fauci and his ilk have an interest in stirring up hysteria and they have a long, proven track record in doing so. The medical establishment did the same thing with HIV/AIDS as they're now doing with Covid: attributing all kinds of existing conditions/syndromes to a virus whose causative role has, at best, been only tenuously established (see the comments of the PCR test designer Kary Mullis in the context of Peter Duesberg and the HIV controversy) and whose risk to the general population is quite small. I'd call them whores but that really wouldn't be fair to whores (who ultimately do honest business).
  8. Thanks for posting. Love how all these new tapes and shows are still surfacing. In particular, this is one of my favorite shows (but I still think the original recording is better).
  9. Sounds solid: Pfizer CEO "Not Certain" Vaccine Will Stop People from Carrying and Spreading COVID-19 - Planet Free Will
  10. It's not even clear that Magic Johnson serves as a counterexample: https://fumento.com/articles/michael_fumento_reports_do_you_believe_in_magic/
  11. Yeah, because the sex lives of athletes and celebrities are indicative of the population as a whole. How fucking stupid are you?
  12. Anyone who thinks these politicians are going to get injected on the telescreen with anything but a saline solution needs to self-quarantine for a very long time, as reality is not their cup of their tea.
  13. I'm old enough to remember in the 80's when Fauci was warning that AIDS was going to break out among heterosexuals. The guy is a bureaucrat, not a scientist. (And even if he was a scientist, his word shouldn't be taken as gospel.)

  15. I'm still enjoying the new 7-13-73 show so much that I have be honest, this LA show is pretty underwhelming in comparison. It was known that the LA75 shows didn't measure up to the previous great nights in Vancouver and Seattle (not to mention Long Beach), but this soundboard (superb sound and all) really doesn't flatter the first night (admittedly the weakest of the three nights). Even NQ comes off a little flat.
  16. D&C is not very impressive. Unlike STH, the gorgeous sound quality does not improve the real sloppiness.
  17. Or, they're older and unfamiliar with the internet etc. and have no idea how to distribute them. Our only real hope here (unless you want to go on a Monty Python "bring out your dead" road show) is that such people have younger/tech-savvy relatives who learn of the tapes and understand their significance.
  18. I don't like the Dead. Not my style of music, nor do I understand the whole "pilgrimage" aspect of their fan base.
  19. According to an email from Fisheads, this is in stock and presumably ready to ship.
  20. Those are valid points, but what do you advise? Go around looking for old hippies and ask if we can rummage around their attic for forgotten tapes? We're simply very fortunate that, whatever these tapes were doing for the last 45 years, they came to the attention of someone who had the motivation to make them publicly available finally. I don't think there's much more we can do than hope more get discovered (and of course be grateful when they do).
  21. I love how Plant is thrashing on Bonham's drum riser during D&C.
  22. Completely disagree, I think this new show is fantastic, at least as good as the previous night (which I've always regarded as all-time great). I think these two Detroit shows are an amazing back-to-back run. FWIW I've always found the LA shows (and SF) from May to be overrated.
