  1. As far as the upcoming shows: No Taylor or Wyman, no interest at all. And another greatest hits package? Yawn. However I AM very pleased about the recent releases of Brussels 1973 and LA 1975. And the extras they did for Exile and Some Girls recently are great. Bring out the unreleased gems, other than that...bleh
  2. This could be pretty much just a case of personal preference. Some people swear by the earlier shows, others like the later stuff. Me? The LA 6-21/23 1977 shows are tops with me, followed by Knebworth 8-4-79.
  3. It's a decent show and recording. Not as clear, nor as cohesive as the 21st, 23rd or 25th....still, very nice. 34 minutes of No Quarter.
  4. Deborah...you were very lovely then-and still are now. Fine looking son too! You have much to be proud of.
  5. Nice to meet someone from my old stomping grounds!

  6. Alice In Chains, Roseland Theatre in Portland, OR last Saturday. They were absolutely amazing. And so is their new album, by the way.
  7. Hey man, good to see you here. I'll go fix dat box in a few...

  8. As much as it PAINS me to read this-it's hard for me to refute. Actually I DO "get it". But I'm one of the few. Nobody in the White House does, that's for sure.
  9. That's the spirits! Uh, I mean spirit. Oh bullshit, I DID mean spirits. Cheers!
  10. Thank you kindly. And may all of you have a wonderful 4th, American or not!
  11. Peter Frampton in July, Alice In Chains in September. So far...
  12. My God, there's a bunch of lovely ladies here. All of you.
  13. Holy Guacamole, that's you? Damn, you look great! And I dare say, if you'll please forgive me, quite alluring...
  14. Fuck, that was brutal. I have a live boot from Cleveland 1986 that says otherwise. A very energetic performance!
  15. I still have that EP. The live stuff is tremendous, and the extended mix of Radioactive is nice and loose. A fun listen.
  16. For Badgeholders Only parts 1&2 (Dragonfly) Persistence (Roon Dog) Live At Knebworth 8-4-79 parts 1&2 (Raven) BBC Broadcast (Sunburn) Plant Waves (Wizardo) Led Zep 329 (Wizardo) Everything else I have is on CD.
  17. The entire piano/boogie section is cut out, save for a tiny bit at the end. If they had to cut it, at least that was the best part to cut. They could have edited it much better though.
  18. The KBFH version from June 3, 1979 (with Roger) blows that into the dust!! Check out www.wolfgangsvault.com. It's on there. It's by FAR the best Heart show you'll ever hear, hands down.
  19. While Heart was notorious for nicking Zep's ALS (Barracuda), they were a fun band while Roger was still with them. Somehow they weren't quite the same after that, though Howard is a good axe man too. The early band was tons o' fun. They did some pretty good covers too, particularly The Rover. Roger loved to play around with the bow a la Jimmy as well. Great stuff!
  20. I concur. As usual, everyone blows stuff way out of proportion. I don't think this is any different. I hope..
