  1. The only pro Zep footage is the Peter Whitehead film, which was the only one the band authorized that day. The video screens and all other film & video cameras were ordered turned off by Peter Grant.
  2. Is it actually a different source/recording or a different lineage of the existing one? Does it have the beginning of Immigrant Song?
  3. using online translation, apparently a new bootleg audience source for Toronto 1971 is coming out soon? one site says "aud source not available online"
  4. #1) Your Marshall is not the same as JP's. His were custom modified. #2) Your tubes could be worn out. I have a similar amp to Jimmy's at the time which used KT88 tubes and it has lots of overdrive. Sounds very similar to his when it's cranked up.
  5. Excellent article & pics of the Yardbirds playing St Xavier Prom 1968. https://www.cincinnatimagazine.com/article/in-1968-jimmy-page-and-the-yardbirds-played-at-st-xaviers-prom/
  6. The photographer posted these here on the forum a year or two ago.
  7. Excellent. The old one was there for such a long time. I'll be diving in to the bio section now.
  8. Nice! Looking forward to getting my copy soon I hope.
  9. Resurrecting this thread for the temporary re-launch of the Sirius Led Zeppelin channel. Apparently you can sign up for a free 30 day trial of SiriusXM. https://blog.siriusxm.com/led-zeppelin-radio-to-deliver-a-whole-lotta-hits-deep-cuts-commentary-on-siriusxm/
  10. I should get Philip's book. He first wrote the story about Zep in Memphis 1970 for the old L-Z.com site and it's in the timeline. https://www.ledzeppelin.com/lzprogrammes/lzrauls.html

  12. Good point. There were some syndicated articles in April 1977 from New Orleans with Peter Grant being interviewed. It's very possible that's when the photo was taken. There's also a photo of the whole band in New Orleans at the corner of Toulouse & Burgunday in the French Quarter which looks to be around April 77 too.
  13. The older 8mm film (close to the stage) of this show had a clip of Celebration Day.
  14. Excellent news. Finally can put this nonsense to bed. Now let's have an avalanche of official live releases please!
