RIP Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Half of WWF’s (now WWE) “The Hart Foundation” along with Bret “The Hitman” Hart. He stopped wrestling back in ‘97 but apparently his daughter does now. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys before getting into wrestling.

Not until he’s 50. He has the all-time majors winner to shoot for. Only 4 away...still. Great showing the past two majors is the inspiration for this thread, I believe.

Golf’s a fickle sport. It seems he’s destined to win another major, but you just don’t know until it happens. Augusta next year is always a good bet, but the US Open going back to pebble beach is also a favorable venue.

Very cool interview and insight. Thanks for posting that. Have watched every episode and the tracks that were chosen have enhanced every scene they were in, IMO. Love the restraint in the way “In The Evening” has been used...even Mrs Walter has said “that’s not fair” when the only go as far as Robert’s eerie vocal prelude. He’s used the tension, beauty, power and grace of their music to perfection - thus far. Thanks again, zeplz71!

Mrs Walter took junior and some neighborhood kids to Meg last Thursday while I was watching the Cowboys game at home with some friends. They all seemed to enjoy it.

Interesting this thread popped up. I just watched the documentary of the ‘82 US Festival. Very interesting to see how that one came together, with Bill Graham taking control of it when Wozniak couldn’t put the plan into action on production end. I’ve had the Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Joe Walsh sets from ‘83 on dvd for a while now, great sets. But I never really knew much about the ‘82 Festival. I remember reading about both years in Hit Parader. Great concept to have themed days of music.

I agree the NFC is stacked. My ‘boys looked good when the players who’ll be playing we’re in. Minnesota doing it is a long shot, IMO. They just lost a starting guard, on top of Coach Sporano (RIP) passing. Plus I’m still not sold on Cousins. Good stats, but hasn’t shown it consistently when the pressure is on. Last night was awesome with multiple games being shown at the same time. Junior is already folding the tents for Seattle’s season. But he likes to play the reverse psychology card. It’s philly’s conference to lose, IMO. The rams aren’t tested enough yet and the pack’s defense remains to be seen. Atlanta is probably just a tick below Philly. It’s just exciting to see everything coming together!

You know what they say about defense though... I believe two out of three have a legit discussion on their hands. Thomas is looking for some loyalty/guarantee in a league that is all about “what have you done for me lately”. He needs to come to Dallas where he can make big bucks just being a part of “America’s Team”!

Yeah I like to see how the draft picks are coming along, guys I’ve been reading about from the mini camps, etc. First game is pretty much all backups anyway, but they will be playing as injuries mount during the season. Your boy Benjamin seems to be having a case of open mouth insert foot...even your Coach is pissed at him.

Just finished watching the 2018 Hall of Fame induction ceremony - fantastic. Let the season begin! Can’t wait for my Cowboys vs 49’ers on Thursday night!

Those dates are a little before my time. I’ve never been to Fenway, high on the list though. That must’ve been crazy to see a football field squeezed into there!
