Same here, plus plant/page did it as well as Crowes/page. Awesome song live! Agreed. I always enjoed We’re Gonna Groove as a show opener.

It is a good opener, but when compared to the rest of the true studio albums, it just starts the album with less punch, IMO. Still love It - but the rest of PG’s songs from that recording session just have more sonic punch. Strange they never played it seeing that it’s the opening song on an epic album.

Sorry for the delay...had the updated standings on my desk last Friday but left them there. So here are the updated standings as of today: Strider is still leading at 335 total wins 2. Walter - 334 3. Paplbojo - 331 4. zepscoda - 329 5. ebk - 328 6. Paul - 312 7. Rick - 305 8. Kingzoso - 303 Tight battle, with the top 5 within 7 wins of each other, two months in...plus there will be bonus points awarded for correctly selecting division winners and wild cards. Game on!

Personally I think “Wanton Song” would’ve been the best opener for PG. A punch directly to the face.

Yes and no. The racing is never super exciting there - but the precision and on edge performance it takes is always impressive! Not a great one, but I still enjoyed it. Love the Montreal course.

Heading out to a neighborhood bbq at a friends house as a tropical storm approaches. Oh well, most of it will be undercover or just get in the hot tub, right?!?. Been rainy for 2+ weeks now, so much for “The Sunshine State”. Looks like we’ve flipped in weather, CP.

Saw them 10/30/87 in Tampa and April ‘88 (in a driving rain) in Orlando from that tour as well. Tampa showing was incredible-blew up the pig at the start of the 2nd set. Which two did you see?

Merry Christmas race fans! The BEST day of racing is bestowed on us once again. Enjoying the precision, strategic, and visually mesmerizing streets of Monaco. Ricciardo has been The Man all week so far....but we’ve seen that before. Not no really, Strider. Hope she has a good race and comes through without injury. It’s tough to just jump into an Indy car after not being in one for the better part of a decade, at the 500, and not wreck out. Tonight Harvick is going for four wins in a row (counting last weeks All-Star race) and he’s starting from the back with very limited practice time - due to failing inspection. Should be fun watching him drive to the front.

Man the rivalry was in full force when I was growing up in the late 70’s. When Zimmer was the BoSox manager. I can remember their line up almost as well as the Yanks. My most hated rival in all of sports, personally.
