  1. Blind faith isn't redundant at all....as I said earlier Blind Faith, as you put it, was a great band. Your point, or attempt at humor, went down like a lead balloon... Enjoy your new religious leader/moral compass Catholics!
  2. Their first three albums didn't sell much at all, until 'Alive' was released and then "Beth" hit..... Back to teen idols(?)....Leif Garrett and Shaun Cassidy were definitely two of my sisters favorites back in the 70's. I never got into the female ones because I just didn't like that kind of music. As I said earlier, Debbie Gibson was cute and respectable because she wrote her own music and played piano - so she had my attention.
  3. Nice timeline Sue! What makes them your 2nd fav group? For me, Nirvana and Pearl Jam were too overplayed back in the early mid-90's and I never regained my enthusiasm for their music. Their "Unplugged" disc is my favorite. I do still enjoy listening to "Frances Farmer...", "Breed", "About A Girl", "Scentless Apprentice" and many more - just don't come to mind when deciding to throw something into the car and drive around to.
  4. It's like fantasy football lately.....Welker to the Broncos. Stephen Jackson to Atlanta. Crazy stuff!
  5. Yes they were! However, as an educator, you should have noticed that I didn't use the term as a proper noun - hence the lower case "f". Thank you for your opinion on the Jesuits and Franciscans, btw.
  6. Well I dressed up as Gene Simmons in 5th grade (1979) for Halloween in a pre-made costume. So if that doesn't prove they were being marketed to pre-teens, along with KISS dolls, etc. then I don't know what does. Obviously their fan base goes beyond that (past/present), but they were geared towards the 10-15 year fans in the 70's. "Christine Sixteen", enough said.
  7. Ya think?!? Blind faith, just the way they like 'em...
  8. I LOVE the 5/24/75 acoustic set. So loose and vibey!
  9. Happy Birthday 'Chase'! Hope you did it up BIG!
  10. Zeppelin are their own triangular pyramid, with the vertices being Bonham, Jones, Plant and Page. 3-dimensional because of the depth of their music and a pyramid because they stand on their own!
  11. Kinda like people who keep returning to a website they have repeatedly been banned from.....
  12. The Debbie Gibson call was spot on for that time period! My sister used to get Tiger Beat back in the late 70's and yes, KISS was on the cover. Does the early version of The Beatles enter the discussion? I mean all those teenage girls chasing them, crying, passing out at their shows, etc.
  13. Listening to the BBC in Pasadena??
  14. Looks like Reggie Bush has said "bye-bye" to south Florida and "hello" to Detroit.
  15. Plus running quarterbacks eventually take a serious hit to the head. They had to trade Smith, too high priced for a back-up quarterback and he would've become a potential problem in the locker room. Lots surprises in both the release and signings department yesterday.
  16. She is just about perfection! Do you know who she is, ZEPFAN17?
  17. Lemon Song.....who doesn't smile after getting their lemon squeezed until the juice.....
  18. Even with the picture being blurry, you are a beautiful young lady! Glad you posted that!
