  1. The whole pedo thing is just so far beyond my comprehension its difficult for me to really understand it and the motivations behind such behaviors. Kids are a pain in the ass, teenagers are an even bigger pain in the ass. Why anyone would be attracted to anyone under 30 is completely beyond my comprehension (or under 20 for them 20 somethings out there). There is nothing there, nothing at all, they are just needy pains in the ass but I guess I am looking at it the wrong way, who knows. Honestly, I guess the possibility of some elite pedo sex cult being out there is good as any possibility, it just seems really stupid IMO.
  2. I think the best disinfectant is sunlight, truth. All this shit needs to be taught in schools, warts and all because if the truth is hidden we are doomed to make the same mistakes. Teach about the bullshit crimes against the citizenry of this nation, from the Tuskegee Experiments to MKUltra, to COINTELPRO, to Iran-Contra, to Critical Race Theory. Teach all that shit side by side with the first truly modern representative government since the Roman Republic, freeing the slaves and fighting a just war over the issue, spearheading the industrial revolution and some of the greatest discoveries in history. There is just as much, if not more good to talk about as bad but when you leave the bad out you cannot present a true picture and in fact, you rob the past of its accomplishments and what we have overcome to get where we are. Any fool can build on the success of the past, its when we overcome and build anew that we become visionaries and hero's.
  3. Crazy right? I wash the bedsheets once a week, however back in my college days it was maybe once a month so I have improved over time in that respect at least 😉
  4. That is pretty wild and I have heard most of that as well. I believe it was Kubrick's editor who came in after his death and made the requested edits. But to play devil's advocate, those cuts may have been necessary to ensure an R vs. NC-17 rating for release. Not saying that was the case but just say that hour of film had some seriously crazy, disturbing shit which would make a certain group look bad. So what? As a great man once said, "let those with eyes see and those with ears hear." The problem is very few people would understand such occult references even if shown and those that do would think Kubrick was just well versed in occult practices and the like and shrugged them off. I guess my big questions would be, what is the point of people with all the power in the world to engage in such activity? Just to get their kicks? It's not going to bring them greater power or wealth so what would be the point? I am sure there are some very powerful people who believe such practices and rituals can safeguard their power and position however from my own experiences with the occult and with rather questionable groups and practitioners in the past, most is 99% bullshit. The people who can actually affect change with these rituals need months of extremely intense focus with forces not to be trifled with and even then it's near impossible to pull off and even if successful it's always on a rather small scale anyway. I love all of Kubrick's movies BTW, not a stinker in the bunch. There is the old mantra of the Wiccan, "you only get back what you put out and if your intent is ill will or negative, it will come back on the practitioner seven-fold." Such forces are not to be summoned and if they are only a fool thinks they can be controlled as those forces are never controlled, they control you, always. On the positive front Scientology is suffering a pretty big decline in membership and revenue over the past decade due to exposure. I sincerely doubt it will survive another 20 years at this rate and good riddance.
  5. I love The Master, great movie. Supposedly, Scientologists assassinated PSH as a result of his participation in the movie as it was essentially a bio pick of L. Ron Hubbard. Not sold on the assassination part but damn PSH was IMO the greatest actor of our generation. Guy was clean for something like 20 years then BAM, dies from a heroin overdose.
  6. The CIA infiltrated every group at one point or another while the FBI was doing the same. Everyone bitches about it, while no one does anything about it. Just continuous screaming to the wind, blah, blah, blah. Honestly, if it were not for my great Saviour J.R. Bob Dobbs who has shown me the divine path of Slack and Frop, I would be a Nihilist. Scuse me, Connie's calling 😉
  7. Without a doubt. First time I saw Supershow and saw Jimmy in the leathers with colorful paisley shirt, the dragon tele, blew my mind. That is still the most cool outfit Jimmy ever wore IMO.
  8. Excellent point. Love Louie Louie, never understood a damn word of the song outside the chorus and never cared. Figured the singer was wasted when they laid the track and the band thought, hmmm, sounds good, why not. BTW when that song's vocal is isolated and messed with to where you can understand the words, not a single bad word is found. Silly FBI
  9. Never understood why this was such a big deal back in the day. Why would anyone care if Robert said hell or high, or hula hoop or whatever. He could have said, "hey kiddos, sell your soul to satan, he's one hep cat man..." for all I cared. It's a song, by a band, not an ex-cathedra by the Pope.
  10. Hell yeah, I figure let the ladies and GBTQ+ community have a bit of fun for once. Nothing like old grandpa Chester sneaking up to JJ Watt to give him a wee "tickle." I think I know who the player with lilliputian sized bishop is. Gotta be OJ, that makes sense as that dude was always mad and, well, you know the rest. Still love North Dallas Forty though, hilarious movie.
  11. Honestly, IMO a player should be paid by the game and his / her performance within that game plus an overall team evaluation. These guys play sports, silly children's games for a living if ya get down to it. They contribute nothing to society overall except maybe the entertainment factor yet they make millions and sometimes for doing nothing. Don't get me wrong, good work if you can get it and good for them they can get it, I just think its silly especially when you watch the games and you can tell when a team or player simply gives zero shits, yet, still gettin paid. Damn right, time to bring some humility back to the game. Or at least if they're gonna make that kind of loot, the half-time show better be the whole team needs to do a giant naked pole dance routine while a gaggle of elderly residence from the local retirement community get to grope them and then judge them based on, well, you know 😉 I got this shit all figured out
  12. I sure hope you're right, I would love to see a Rams vs. Chief's game. What I can't stand about Brady is beside his arrogance, the guy gets busted cheating and his response is that stupid Cheshire grin plastered on his face. The guy is good, without a doubt but I like a bit of humility like a Joe Montana or Dan Marino.
  13. I can't stand Brady and his deflated balls, happy he lost.
  14. I hate emu's, nasty bird like creatures with zero social skills. F that emu!
  15. Ironically, I used to have USAA until I found out they were the highest next to The Hartford. Gieco has proven the cheapest so far. What is simply horrible are companies who market to a particular group such as veterans and seniors and then screw them in the process. Then you have grandpa Tom Selleck Mr. This Ain't My First Rodeo, trying to convince people a reverse mortgage is not a way for tha banks to steal your home...yes it is, yes it is bigtime, just look at the terms. Then again Selleck is the POS who got busted for stealing water during a major drought for his avocado farm of which supposedly was just a "hobby." Don't get me started on pharma commercials or gambling commercials, just nonsense.
  16. Good for you. I have always been lucky regarding sleep, no problem at all and can probably sleep standing up. However the wife does suffer from insomnia on occasion of which she partakes of the holy herb which always puts her out like a light. It is recreational where we live and she does not smoke on the regular, only when she has problems sleeping.
  17. 10%, pfffft, that's nothing. This is a recent pic of me after this super-awesome diet with only 0% body fat:
  18. Shit, they were right! I stared into the abyss and the abyss stared back 😱
  19. Todd also played the majority of the guitar on Bat Out Of Hell. I saw Meat once in the 90's with Cheap Trick opening. Have to give the man credit as he sure did put on one hell of a show. He either had the crowd cheering or laughing with his between-song banter. RIP big man
  20. No doubt, but even if I were not required to learn the language, I would still learn the language. Just as I expect anyone who lives in the US to learn passable English, I too should be held to the same standards and Slovenian is a real bitch of a language.
  21. What do you think about Slovenia? That is where my mother's family heralds from and it is a stunningly beautiful country. My Great-Grandfather owned a resort in the hot-springs town of Catez ob Savi until WWII. When Tito took over after the war the lands and property were confiscated by the state and he was allowed to manage the place until his death (how generous). After Slovenian independence in 1991 the remaining family petitioned to have the lands and property returned which was granted by the government so it is back in family hands where it belongs. The area is simply breathtaking, rolling mountains, hot-springs, and the area is located right on the Slovene-Croat border about 50 miles from Zagreb. I hope you achieve your dream Stryder, it really is an enchanted land.
  22. Now that's awesome. I really love it when everything is brought down to the human level. Just hanging out and jamming with the neighbors in front of 30k people. Harrison always was a class act.
  23. There are a few candidates for microbial and even possibly semi-complex life in the oceans of Europa. The whole moon is mostly a large, frozen over ocean and we have found such life in our own frozen over lakes & rivers in the Antarctic so it is possible. BTW when I say semi-complex I am talking something jellyfish like but not vertebrae creatures.
  24. Strange as I thought I heard several plantations where Plant calls Bonzo a Badgeholder, and members of the road crew Badgeholders. I believe I might be experiencing the Madela Affect or my hearing is going 😞
