I'd never heard of her until the Grammy nominees were announced. Never heard the song until today either. Wow, the Record of the Year category certainly has in eclectic mix this year!

^^ LOL they will probably feel like chaperones, since many of the performers and other nominees are much younger! Anyways, I think it will be such a treat to see them on live TV, I mean when have we ever seen Robert performing live on an awards show? I know I haven't, so I am very excited. You see many of the others more frequently, so getting to see him and Alison is extra special, I think.

Great pic!! They have become the perfect musical pairing, IMO. Speaking of performing, I read an article on-line that the rapper M.I.A is performing she's nine months pregnant, not to mention is due anyday now! That would be the highlight of the show if she goes into labor on stage!! She is nominated for Record of The Year for "Paper Planes" along with Robert and Alison's "Please Read the Letter." I am so excited!

Who's being touchy? Some are happy with Robert's choices to continue to do his own thing and some want him back with Jimmy, Jonesy and Jason. I think that is pretty clear. Doesn't mean people are being touchy. Everyone is just expressing their opinion. I for one, love what he is doing with Alison and cannot wait for the next album. I also want Jimmy to give us some new music as well very soon!

Oh yes, I agree with your choices too! I tell you when I start listing, there are so many out there, my mind draws a blank after a while, then I go back and am like "I forgot, so and so and so and so", LOL!

Excellent point Songbird! Also, Jimmy is very private about his life. Yes, we have all seen pics of his kids, but he has never gone out of his way to show them off now has he? Or you don't see Jimena on the front page of a gossip mag willing to tell all the "secrets of their relationship" to the whole world either. Now that is called pure class!!There are too many celebs these days that love to pimp out pics of their kids or tell you every detail about their relationship and then complain when the papparazzi and tabloids start bothering them and that really sickens me! This why I don't waste a penny on that tabloid crap!! Alot of them know the price of being famous, but don't go out of their way to get that extra attention, which is mostly bad stuff anyways, they are just very serious about what they do and that is how Jimmy is and have nothing but respect for them. I find celebs alot more interesting when I don't have to hear about every move they make in their private life. People have a choice to ignore all the gossipy crap. Don't buy the mags or watch the tabloid TV shows. Just because it is how society is doesn't mean we have to buy into it.

Do I have to choose? I love the harmonica and guitar, both excellent on a kick ass song!!

Me too! Some people just need to accept that Robert has moved on SINCE Zeppelin. I find it sad that many cannot. Oh well, more for us to enjoy of his solo projects.

Nope, they haven't ruined other music for me. I love so many different genres, as a matter of fact, Robert's work in the Americana scene lately has turned me on to that genre even more. I just love to continuously explore great new music.
