    Ross's Diary

I agree..it's been discussed on this board recently.....Several guitar magazines are interested in Jimmy Page interviews after the Induction ceremonies in April...It is "Probably" a photo shoot for this?..which cannot be discussed yet...? I do believe Jimmy Page and/or Manager will have something "definite" this time...there is very little time, if any, left for "possibilities"......what ever it is I will graciously accept it from Jimmy Page... As for Ross, personally, I wish, he would stop doing this suspicious diary entries...I would much rather hear that Jimmy is healthy, happy, and that he had wonderful time, etc..... this is just my thinking.........
  2. Peter Frampton (crush for little while) Robert Plant too is my fav Blond...but He has a special place for pictures.....
  3. From what I remember...Richard Cole writes in Stairway to Heaven, the Band was on their way to Winnipeg....the date/year has to be Aug. 29, 1970 Man Pop Festival, Winnipeg, MB.... Richard also writes about their "extra-curricular" activities/possiblities of renting Boat, down by the amazing Assiniboine River to relieve "bordeom"........... perhaps, the advertisement appeared much later? (Just a little personal interest in this particular city.....)
  4. ...one more - the honorable list (from my closet door) ....I was beginning to feel "bit" more comfortable with "blond" rock star image, (being dark myself)
  5. yes, they are very beautiful pics of very handsome man...(I wasn't that much familiar with Pink Floyd back then) My list.... 1. James Patrick Page is CEO of what is "Beautiful"........(He remained on my bedroom wall, the finest spot for HIM!!!!) My Honorable list...... (my closet door) Brian May(Queen) (I was beginning to be "bit" comfortable with a "blond" rock stars image, (myself being dark, that is)
  6. Cav, I "kind" of understand what you are saying, but what is cheap is an individual opinion. I also think that legendary bands who have accomplished great careers need to involve young/less experienced musicians....this establishes mutual respect for one an another.......
  7. ...This is good question. There is quite bit news/discussions about Jimmy Page approaching musicians for new project, BUT from the opposite, which artists (new or past) have approached Jimmy Page/John Paul Jones for new possibilities....? Has Jimmy turned down any offers?
  8. The Young Apprentice has come of an age In Color so far...........the possibilities are endless, so it appears......... OH, The Sorcerer, I really wonder about his magical powers now.........
  9. .......I think CODA has an exceptional appeal on it's own, it is refreshing to listen to CODA after listening to all their major studio work to appreciate the Band........ I do relate to your oddity....I can listen to Dazed and Confused many times but not Kashmir.......
  10. .....yes!!!!!......I love those pants, the moons, the stars......He is so very beautiful and charming, as if the entire universe is succumbed to his beauty at his feet.........
  11. .........The Humble Young Apprentice in the making.........?
  12. ....yes, this entire thread is stirring up enough motion to actually do nothing but read......... what's life without emotions..........its' food for the soul.........
  13. .Hmmm.........No chance for Classic Rock to live 9 Lives, 10...11,............... agreed, only thing constant is change..........
  14. ...tks for this link Sam. I wonder if The Jacket still belongs to him ...although I wish he would have signed it and returned it, then she/we would have a amazing photo too.......
  15. Bigdan, Tks for posting this photo. This is a cover photo from July 1986 Guitar World Magaine. "Special Jimmy Page Issue". I have this magazine with some interesting interviews, perhaps I will scan some, if they don't already exist elsewhere......?
  16. two of my fav's....he is so radiant...........
  17. a Fine Balance - R. Mistry... Dr. Zhivago - Boris Pasternak - Catcher In the Rye - J.D. Salinger Autobiography: The Story of My Experiments with Truth - M.K. Ghandhi Hamlet - Shakespeare As to why, all these books reflect timeless universal truth about life, humans and their practice of humanity at their best, worst. Everything that exists is in this universe is immortalized in these readings.....
  18. ....indeed, the grass will forever remain green with Led Zeppelin....... ...small my collection, but nevertheless, worthy....
  19. ....tks for sharing this video...agreed beyond amazing.. Jimmy can do lots of things at the same time, he moved the entire culture and generation at the same time, a lot weight for a thin lean man......
  20. ....Slumdog..... The Theme of the movie is "most relevant" to current generation at large...to find love over $$$... a bit of background... I was raised on this classic 60's-70's "Theme" in Indian Cinema, Danny Boyle has watched many such movies from Indian cinema before making SDM): ...two long lost people, one is rich other is poor, the rich never forgets where he came from....the sign of innocent times.... also, I think the music and "Lyrics" will also go to SDM.. (like most Indians, I like AR Rehman's music in other Indian films, not SLM...this is not a music for the masses in India...he has very talented and incredible competition at home.... (As for lyrics...Gulzar should win...He is not just a lyricist, but an poet of epic proportions...but I really don't know how the Academy looks at this deal)
  21. ...He appears like a dream..........
  22. the Yardbirds, they are in casino tour across Canada.. it is sold out...but still trying...
  23. happy only for a moment, I thought I might score Yardbirds tickets in Winnipeg today...but no luck...surely, they could play bigger venues instead of small casinos across Canada?.....this is very frustrating..wonder why they think so "small"?
