LedZep123
Well, they'd have to cancel at least a week of dates, so these shows are 95% going to be postponed/cancelled August 28th - Raleigh, NC, USA - Coastal Credit Union Music Park August 29th - Atlanta, GA, USA - Cellairis Bank Amphitheatre September 1st - Clarkston, MI, USA - DTE Energy Music Theatre September 2nd - Fairborn, OH, USA - Nutter Center And if he dosen't get better and'll need some time to rest, these shows could be postponed as well September 4th - Tinley Park, IL, USA - Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre September 5th - Milwaukee, WI, USA - American Family Insurance Amphitheater September 9th - Irvine, CA, USA - FivePoint Amphitheater Best wishes to Paul though

Awaiting official word from the band today. Hopefully, no one else else in the band or crew tests positive. R😎

Hope it's a false positive test!! 😄 The only thing is though, what would've made the covid-testers or whatever think that he had positive?🤔 And you can't go to a concert without proof of vaccination... Well, I hope it's a false positive test, hope Paul is okay, and think that it's a bummer that after about 4 shows on the tour, he's sick! Actually some venues (if outdoors or in certain states) you don’t have to have proof of vaxx; only have tested negative within 48 to 72 hours before event or just wear a mask. Tomorrow’s Raleigh concert postponed per the band’s website today. R😎 Edited August 28, 2021 by reids

reids
Indeed. Looks like Atlanta has been postponed, too. I think we won’t see another concert until September 9 in California (which will be 7 concerts being rescheduled probably sometime in October or later). Well, I hope it's a false positive test, hope Paul is okay, and think that it's a bummer that after about 4 shows on the tour, he's sick! Not entirely true. I went to three events recently…a Sparks concert outdoors, Black Crowes at the Forum, and Hamilton (Didn't you used to work at All-American Burger?) at the Pantages. Only the Pantages made people show vaccination cards and enforced masking. The other two didn't bother with any regulations. All aboard for the Kiss Death Cruise. https://www.thekisskruise.com
reids
I bet the Kiss Cruise either gets postponed to late 2022 since the events of this week, cancelled altogether or the performers will be behind some sort of a glass screen on stage (quarantined / and / or have different access points on board for all activities including food, etc ) R😎 Edited August 28, 2021 by reids

reids
Exactly my prediction coming true from the other day, ... KISS postpone 4 more concerts (currently resuming Possibly in California). However, I’m hearing that Gene has now tested positive after getting vaxxed. Maybe, they’ll cancel the remainder of their tour. We’ll see. R😎 Edited September 1, 2021 by reids

LedZep123
I think a Kiss reunion would be great, but I honestly can't imagine Ace and Peter back in makeup... they should do like a mini unmasked convention tour in '95, to celebrate the entire history of Kiss. Have some stage sets, costumes, and then an acoustic set, with Ace & Peter.
reids
I bet they pay to get Ace and Peter up for an encore set at MSG for their (2nd) farewell In 2022 or ‘23 (50 years in) w/ Nothin To Lose, Beth, Hard Luck Woman (Peter only singing) & Shock Me, NY Groove, Cold Gin (w/ Ace)... They’ll continue residencies in Vegas, Atlantic City, Dubai, etc as long as they can afterwards... R😎

paplbojo
I just started listening to Kiss for the first time. Some rabbit hole I've gone down the past 3-4 weeks. Wow. A shame they cancelled their Vegas residency. I'd like to see them once before they call it quits.
reids
They cancelled their Vegas residency due to lack of ticket sales. Perhaps, they needed David Lee Roth as an opener after all. R😎

I would think KISS was made for Vegas, just assumed they of all bands would go over in Vegas better than Celine Dion. I sure as hell would have bought tickets for a Vegas show. KISS & Vegas are like peanut butter & chocolate, Ethel & Lucy, Turner & Hootch. Just don't make no damn sense there was a lack of ticket sales. Who knows, maybe they need to write a couple of Rap tunes or add some silly Cirque du' Soleil nonsense to the act to appeal to contemporary Vegas audiences. Just crazy. Rock Historian
Welcome to the KISS "we need ya money now more than ever, we fooled you again, we are not going anywhere yet, we will keep promoting that it's the last world tour until you stop coming, I can't believe you all thought we were a good rock band, we promised this will be the last one, End of the Road" -Tour Edited February 18, 2022 by Rock Historian Add words
