I have to say that it has been the most successful show of the past decade, alongside of AI. I watched fervently the first two seasons and then kind of "lost" interest. There could an episode plot about 3 foot tall aliens with green skin, 4 eyes and antennas sticking from their head, and I would just totally get immersed in the story line.
