rm2551
Needed to give this another go. Whole band is so on fire. The more pronounced keyboards are brilliant. The audio quality is spectacular.

rm2551
I have read a bit about the 1980 tour being way below standard. This seems to suggest otherwise. Was awesome to see those pics too.

nick2632
Cleveland ~ April 27, 1977.Just now getting around to giving this show a full listen, but I've listened to a few songs from it in the past. I'm on No Quarter now and am liking the show quite a bit, but the following night is better so far and a better recording regardless of it being an audience recording over a soundboard recording. I really like this No Quarter, though it has what seems like a very long cut in it unfortunately. I really like how they played Trampled Under Foot as the encore both nights in Cleveland. nick2632
LA Forum ~ May 31, 1973. 'Bonzo's Birthday Matrix'. It's been a while since I've listened to a full '73 U.S. show so getting another new one for me off the list. Since 'Three Days After' is a poor recording I never got the show besides the encores so I decided to just put Organ Solo ~ Thank You at the end of 'Bonzo's Birthday Matrix' which I often listen to on the album, but never have listened to the full album yet. Finished Black Dog now and sounds like a great show and a good recording!
Walter
I have been listening to what you posted and love that No Quarter. Thank you for that, I've been listening to different shows on you tube but didn't come across that one. I really like it. Thank you.very cool that you are getting into the live stuff! As was said in the Millard thread - you have to get all of his recordings, they are essential! No Quarter 75 is probably my favorite year and the show Deb posted is a very good one! Check out 5/24/75 form Earls Court for possibly the BEST version ever! Welcome to the forum!
