Jimi Hendrix played 2 full sets on each of the 3 days. I still have the version of Winterland on cd put out by Rychodisc in 1987. It is a legit release but was put out under the supervision of Alan Douglas before Jimi's family attained full ownership in 1995.

I'll pick these up just for completist purposes. But I have to say the In the West release is a disapointment. I have been long hoping that at some point the Berkley 1st show version of Purple Haze that was on The Soundtrack of the Film Jimi Hendrix LPs, would finally get a CD release. This new HITW would have been the perfect place for it...................Ah well Janie fucks up, again.
