SteveZ98
While listening to a bunch of versions of Celebration Day from 1971, I realized it is my favorite song the band played in 1971. That made me think about which songs I like the best from the rest of the years. Here’s my list. What’s yours? 1969 - As Long As I Have You 1970 - SIBLY 1971 - Celebration Day 1972 - Heartbreaker 1973 - No Quarter 1975 - Dazed and Confused 1977 - Achilles Last Stand 1980 - Trampled Underfoot

I am with you on "Celebration Day"...I frequently binge on "Celebration Day" from 1971. I wish they had kept that song in that arrangement for the 1972 tour. I would have died to hear that at the Forum or Long Beach Arena in 1972. Not that I am scoffing at the 1973 "Celebration Day"...it was quite a treat to hear that and it gave the concert a real power surge coming after "Rock and Roll" like that. But the 1971 CDs, with Plant's voice still intact and with Jimmy playing it on the 12-string and going wild in the outro solos and with Jones and Bonzo going thermonuclear on the rhythm, are on a whole 'nother level.
