I would love to see the footage since Zep so rarely appeared publicly during their heyday. Has anyone ever seen it, or remember the appearance? I really don't think this is true....someone would have posted it or mentioned it....I remember as a kid waiting hours for KISS to come on and they never did....I felt so bad for the kid they kept promising it to! reids Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 KISS videotaped a PSA for Muscular Distrophy for the Jerry Lewis Telethon (it's on KISSology volume 2 dvd) and they also ran the video for "Sure Know Something" (from their Disco album, Dynasty). It ran on labor day in 1979. I really doubt Zeppelin were on any of the Jerry Lewis Telethons live (if they were, it would have been something taped; if anything, maybe an interview), but I don't remember anything. Obviously, not the one from the Zep show, which was done much later. For years, I could never figure out what they were singing - I thought it was an African chant or something... They did that with Blondie as well, billed them as a "guest" and then just showed the Heart of Glass video! I suspect it's the same deal with Zeppelin. They're much much too big for a telethon. "The Big Bopper" The problem with that is he died in 1959 with Buddy Holly, who is not listed. They must believe that the word appearances include video of dead people. Do you mean Six degrees of Kevin Bacon. well here goes nothing Led Zeppelin was portrayed in the Tv documentry Video on Trail episode 2.5 with Sharon Stone Sharon Stone was in "Casino" directed by Martin Scorsese Martin Scorsese also directed "New York Stories" with Chris Elliott Chris Elliott was in the Movie "Home for Christmas" with Marcia Gay Harden Marcia Gay Harden was in the movie "Mystic River" with Kevin Bacon Kevin Bacon was the only actor not to be on the Jerry lewis Telethon.
