kashmiran
OK, here's an awesome setlist; It's broken up into sections: Opening licks: Good Times, Bad Times* Black Dog* Celebration Day Ramble On Heartbreaker Over the Hills and Far Away (Transposed down one key) Acoustic set: Going to California (with extended jams like on HTWWW) That's the Way White Summer/Black Mountain Side (to showcase Jimmy's skills) The Battle of Evermore (with some younger, rising star on guest vocals) Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (to signal a return to non-acoustic numbers Blues: Nobody's Fault But Mine Since I've Been Loving You Improv: Dazed and Confused (reminiscent of TSRTS version) Heavier stuff: Stairway to Heaven Achilles Last Stand (or When the Levee Breaks) Sick Again (or For Your Life) Kashmir (show-closer, just like at the O2) Encores: Whole Lotta Love/Rock and Roll/Boogie Chillen And occasionally for an encore: The Ocean (or Communication Breakdown transposed down a bit) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's missing Immigrant Song, but, being realistic, Robert just isn't gonna be able to hit it very well on the high notes. They would have to find a way to link GTBT together with Black Dog, hence the * marks next to each of them. The WLL medley would include: The 1st 2 verses of WLL, then, where the middle section would normally be, Rock and Roll would be performed (in full) then, after that song, we would transition back to WLL via an extension of the R&R drum solo, then Boogie Chillen after that, then back to the refrains of "Woman" and a return to the WLL theme. georgio
I think a dream set list needs to be grounded in REALITY. Could they do another show? Definitely. Would it rock? Sure. This is how I see it playing out and how I've responded to the Bomber below my list: Achilles Last Stand (cause they opened Presence with it) Sick Again (within Plant's range) Nobody's Fault But Mine (within Plant's range) Since I've Been Loving You (perennial favourite) In My Time of Dying (within Plant's range) For Your Life (since they pulled it out the last time) Hey Hey What Can I Do Fool in the Rain (did it with Pearl Jam) Going to California Thank You Bron Yr Aur Stomp Four Sticks (not a favourite but...) Gallows Pole Celebration Day The Lemon Song Bring It On Home Black Dog Kashmir Trampled Underfoot In the Evening Whole Lotta Love Encores Living Loving Maid (Plant did it solo 20 years ago) Rock and Roll Communication Breakdown Alternates Good Times Bad Times D'yer Maker Dancing Days The Crunge No Quarter Dazed and Confused Carouselambra Wearing and Tearing That's the Way Tangerine I realistically see these as songs they could be doing. MY COMMENTS ON BOMBER'S SET LIST: I know i posted the original but it's just too HARD!I ended up with not enough accoustic and 5 encores (The latter is a good thing) they have too many brilliant songs to actually pick uo a setlist just like that, here are some modifications with the reason for their inclusion, they require that the band to play for about a day,but if anyone can,Zep can! INTRO: 1.Rock And Roll (This is the perfect opener for a tour cause it's been a long time!) THINK HIS VOICE WOULDN'T HAVE WARMED UP YET 2.The Immigrant Song (It's a killer riff and they used to open with it regularly) PLANT'S SCREAM WOULDN"T CUT IT FOR THIS ONE. SEE PLANT'S 1988 SOLO TOUR FOR A VERSION OF THIS. 3.Black Dog (It's funkier than the last 2 and slows things down a bit for a "Good evening"!) MAYBE SLOWING DOWN: 4.Heartbreaker (To start the slowing down up,So Page can show off with a killer solo) MAYBE 5.Over The Hills And Far Away (To slow things down) DOUBT IT. 6.Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (To start an accoustic section and build things up) YEAH ACCOUSTIC INTERLUDE: 7.Going To California (It's beatiful) YEP 8.That's The Way (Resting Up The Vocals) YEP 9.Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp (Speeds Things Up For an Electric section) YEP BLUES/FUNK TIME: 10.In My Time Of Dying (Gets Things all Bluesy) YEP 11.Nobodys Fault But Mine (Get's things moving) YEP 12.Trampled Underfoot (With Gallows Poll, cause it's funky) YEP HARD ROCK TIME: 13.Communication Breakdown (With small medley,It's aggressive) CAN'T SEE THEM DOING THIS MID SHOW 14.Moby Dick (To Dedicate To Bonzo) MAYBE 15.No Quarter (For JP To shine) YEP SLOW SONG TIME: 16.Thank You (To Thank the fans) YEP 17.Since I've Been Loving You (To get things into a nice groove) YEP EPIC ROCK-OUT 18.Good Times,Bad Times (To rock out) TOO LATE I RECKON 19.Achilles Last Stand (Cause it's epic) 20.Dazed And Confused (To Improvise) BUILDING UP: 21.The Rain Song (To slow down for...) 22.Kashmir (To build suspense) TOO START AND STOP I THINK BETWEEN DAZED TO KASHMIR. TOO HEAVY. JAM TIME: 23.Houses Of The Holy (To break it down) WOULD NEVER HAPPEN 24.In The Evening (To jam to) SET CLOSER: 25.Stairway To Heaven (To close the set perfectly) ENCORE: 26.Whole Lotta Love (With medley,to blast the stadium into the stratosphere) 27.The Ocean (Amazing riffage) 28.For Your Life (To Jam hard) 29.When The Levee Breaks (It was almost never played) 30.Bring It On Home (Does what it says on the tin) My Hope is that they can convince Zep to play for about 4-5 hours, which would be their longest ever but this is a prayer, something you'd like to see In Your Time Of Dying (Pun intended) It's broken up like that to show how the entire thing goes in my dreams,Where my Black Dog,The Rover went Over The Hills And Far Away,by the Black Mountainside,He left me Dazed And Confused,Poor Tom,he's been Ten Years Gone. TelecasterShaggy
Any setlist would be fine with me, but for their last song I want to hear the Original Swan Song. That would be awesome.

docron
I'm gonna throw something out there that would definitely be in my dream setlist... let me know what you guys think... PAT'S DELIGHT Think about it - this would be a show stopper and you guys know it. And I know what half of you are about to say.., my answer is: why do you think I didn't say Moby Dick? Pat's Delight is alot shorter/less intensive and would be less of a "comparison" type thing between Jason and Bonzo, and more of a tribute. Plus, its the perfect time to let Plant rest his voice before another part of my dream setlist - I Can't Quit You, with Plant's voice in the raw and loud 1970's "screaming banshee" key (Please god, just give him the 69-71 voice back for just one song). docron
1) Were Gonna Groove (probably in a different key to have mercy on Plant's voice) 2) I Can't Quit You (a little throwback to 69-70) 3) White Summer (lets Plant rest his voice) 4) Dazed And Confused (yes, this early in the show) 5) Since I've Been Loving You (lets Page steal everyones girlfriend) 6) Organ Solo/Thank You (a little JPJ never hurt anyone) 7) Stairway To Heaven (not because its my favorite, but because if they didn't people would riot) 8) Going To California (acoustic break time) 9) Thats The Way (more acoustic) 10) Tea For One (this one is a gimme for Plant, and, never been done before) 11) Kashmir (I don't see what peoples fascination is with this one, but again, if not, people would riot) 12) Tampled Underfoot (bring the energy back up) 13) Pat's Delight (the show stopper - a little shorter/less complex than Moby Dick, and a good tribute) 14) Whole Lotta Love (includes Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid in medley) 15) Encores (who cares, every Zeppelin tune is swingin)

Footsteps of Dawn
You know, they have so damn many good songs that I don't really care what they play (as long as it isn't Hot Dog, lol). The two that I would be sad if they didn't play would be No Quarter and Going to California. Other than that, go nuts, guys!
