greenman
12. Carouselambra (THEY NEED TO PLAY THIS :-DDD) Would certainly be interesting to see how they arranged it, maybe replace some of the synth work with piano? Would be nice to include material that features JPJ heavly since his presense would probabley be the biggst difference compaired to the Page and Plant shows. If they were to tour then I'd guess latter material would be easier on Plants voice, plus theres alot of new songs they could play to keep things interesting... BonzoEqualsGoodStuff
All of Led Zeppelin III and Physical Graffiti. I would die happy, but in order for me to die ecstatic, Robert would need to be wearing the bulge jeans.
The Bomber
I know i posted the original but it's just too HARD!I ended up with not enough accoustic and 5 encores (The latter is a good thing) they have too many brilliant songs to actually pick uo a setlist just like that, here are some modifications with the reason for their inclusion, they require that the band to play for about a day,but if anyone can,Zep can! INTRO: 1.Rock And Roll (This is the perfect opener for a tour cause it's been a long time!) 2.The Immigrant Song (It's a killer riff and they used to open with it regularly) 3.Black Dog (It's funkier than the last 2 and slows things down a bit for a "Good evening"!) SLOWING DOWN: 4.Heartbreaker (To start the slowing down up,So Page can show off with a killer solo) 5.Over The Hills And Far Away (To slow things down) 6.Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (To start an accoustic section and build things up) ACCOUSTIC INTERLUDE: 7.Going To California (It's beatiful) 8.That's The Way (Resting Up The Vocals) 9.Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp (Speeds Things Up For an Electric section) BLUES/FUNK TIME: 10.In My Time Of Dying (Gets Things all Bluesy) 11.Nobodys Fault But Mine (Get's things moving) 12.Trampled Underfoot (With Gallows Poll, cause it's funky) HARD ROCK TIME: 13.Communication Breakdown (With small medley,It's aggressive) 14.Moby Dick (To Dedicate To Bonzo) 15.No Quarter (For JP To shine) SLOW SONG TIME: 16.Thank You (To Thank the fans) 17.Since I've Been Loving You (To get things into a nice groove) EPIC ROCK-OUT 18.Good Times,Bad Times (To rock out) 19.Achilles Last Stand (Cause it's epic) 20.Dazed And Confused (To Improvise) BUILDING UP: 21.The Rain Song (To slow down for...) 22.Kashmir (To build suspense) JAM TIME: 23.Houses Of The Holy (To break it down) 24.In The Evening (To jam to) SET CLOSER: 25.Stairway To Heaven (To close the set perfectly) ENCORE: 26.Whole Lotta Love (With medley,to blast the stadium into the stratosphere) 27.The Ocean (Amazing riffage) 28.For Your Life (To Jam hard) 29.When The Levee Breaks (It was almost never played) 30.Bring It On Home (Does what it says on the tin) My Hope is that they can convince Zep to play for about 4-5 hours, which would be their longest ever but this is a prayer, something you'd like to see In Your Time Of Dying (Pun intended) It's broken up like that to show how the entire thing goes in my dreams,Where my Black Dog,The Rover went Over The Hills And Far Away,by the Black Mountainside,He left me Dazed And Confused,Poor Tom,he's been Ten Years Gone. pop
Carouselambra All of my Love Custard Pie Houses of the Holy Dancing Days Hey Hey What Can I Do (maybe special guest on mandolin so JPJ can play bass) Battle of Evermore (NEED special guest for Sandy Denny's vocal spot....maybe one of the Wilson sisters-God it was sad in 77 with JPJ singing) In the Evening Fool in the Rain When the Levee Breaks Four Sticks The Wanton Song I'm just mentioning songs they've either not done or done (as Led Zeppelin) relatively poorly in the past that I would love to see live.... The Immigrant Song (as one that would rock that most don't see Robert pulling off-maybe he needs some digital effects to change the pitch-he's done this before....) donald
Don't think they'll ever tour again, but IF they did, the one song they should finally perform every night is THE ROVER! IMO, this is one of their best songs ever. I would love to hear live versions of it, even if they were forced to tune it down a bit, due to Robert's present range. Further songs I'd love to hear live: - For Your Life (worked well at the o2) - Out on the Tiles (tuned down, of course) - When the Levee breaks - Custard Pie - Night Flight - Tea for one - Wearing & Tearing - Ozone Baby and of course, - Living Loving Maid
