I intensely dislike this argument. Gatekeeping the fandom by saying you have to like X song or if you don't like X song you're not a fan is so tedious. Let people like or dislike what they want.

Well, this is one of the Fridays I'm treating myself to a Starbucks frappuccino, so I agree. I don't allow myself many luxuries, but that's one of them. A couple of times a month is all I can do. LOL

That was one of the best documentaries/movies/etc. I've ever seen. If you're not even a moderate Beatles fan, sitting through all 8 hours might feel like a slog, but it was fascinating watching them pull songs out of thin air. Especially when McCartney sat there strumming his bass like an acoustic guitar and just came up with Get Back. Or when Ringo and I think Michael Lindsay-Hogg were chatting about something and off in the distance, you can hear Paul plunking out Let It Be on the piano. Absolutely amazing.

I'm glad to hear Matt LaFleur is playing the starters Sunday instead of sitting them. I don't think they should play the whole game, but they should at least play the first half. You don't want to go into the Divisional Round game, three weeks later, with all your starters showing three works worth of rust.

I did some much-needed cleaning/reorganizing at home, and I'm happy with how it turned out. My sister bought me a planner for Christmas, and being able to write out the things I need to do every day definitely helps me stay on top of things better than I was managing before.

Judge Judy. Yes, I know it's trashy TV, but some of the people who agree to appear on the show really should have thought twice. Or, at the very least asked themselves if the money is worth the extreme humiliation.

I posted that the day after my 29th birthday. Yikes. Not to the opinion expressed therein, but to the fact that I was still in my 20s at the time. I'll be 40 this year. Not sure yet how I feel about that. However, my opinion on The Crunge has changed in the last 10 years. I don't dislike it as much as I used to.

I'm not watching it, I'm listening to it since the TV is in the other room, but Food Network is on, and it's Trisha Yearwood's show. I actually like it. *shrugs*

Packers win, Cardinals win, Green Bay has the #1 seed. It was a good Sunday. I would have preferred the Giants beating the Bears because it's always good when the Bears lose, but they're a non-factor this year, so it doesn't really matter. I'll be interested to see how many starters LaFleur puts in the game Sunday in Detroit. Rodgers and Adams said they want to play at least some of the game.

Winter has arrived. Finally. (It'll be gone by this afternoon.)
