I find is sad that people think of drugs as recreation. We have lost so many great people to drugs who thought they had everything under control. This is why I like Roger Daltry and Alice Cooper so much. They offer great examples of rock stars who saw the peril and then stayed away. They are great role models.

I just finished all the grocery shopping for two elderly people in my building and put everything away and took out their trash. Now I have a little me time before I have to go to work.

Who are you trying convince, other people or yourself?h Alcohol and drugs should never be used to try and make oneself happier, it's a dead end road. I agree, teachers cant do more for making kids smart than their parents. Whihc is probably why Asian kids do so much better in school because they want them to prosper. Is Oakland another one of those areas where education is on everything other than math and science?

I think the problem is teachers pay should be rewarded based on performance. If the students don't do well they should get less than the minimum. If the students do great then more than average pay. In what other business should somebody expect more money for worse results?
