  2. sorry I didnt see this before but i like this format much better. Having a link to the videos works 100% better for me because how my internet the page loads faster. I like your comment sections to because it is better than just some cut and paste stuff. I just read that Deborah had a tradgedy so now understand what happened to this thread for so long. I hope things are well for her now. but I think you should put more pages up to because they are really good Andy. thank for those contributions.--- kipper
  3. There were flowers on my doorstep from probably a neighbor who knew I have been going through a rough time. Good news is I have lost about 20 lbs in the last few weeks from worry and not eating. Although I now look 30 years older. But flowers made me feel good today.
  4. tonight was sci-fi night and we watched Silent Running one of my faves
  5. they were talking about this at work and I didn't believe it but it is true. Worst part is that the people standing behind are hand picked to be in the picture by the staff. what a slap in the face this is for families hoping their loved ones will rest in peace. a close friend of mine lost someone in that shooting and this just makes the pain so much more to hear
  6. I remembered what you said and then when I heard Hillary say this at the convention I felt vindicated so here is what she said. " From Baghdad and Kabul, to Nice and Paris and Brussels, to San Bernardino and Orlando, we're dealing with determined enemies that must be defeated. " Im not trying to fight but Im still dealing with the pain that happened in Orlando and I just hope people realize we are all in this together. RIP to all who are dying in the world because of hate
  7. anyone seen beyond yet? pretty good
  8. a small kindness from a total stranger less fortunate than I made my day.
  9. here comes the sun - george harison
  10. you can get e-coli from the lettuce you get at the store because apperently field workers like to take a shit in the fields while they work. If you just cook your meat thoroughly there won't be a problem. I love animals too but talk of them in this thread is really obnoxious after so much news of people being murdered by terrorists. It really shows were some people have sort of screwy priorities I think. Really sad for this forum that people do that.
  11. RIP to the 84 innocent people killed in Nice on Bastille day with their friends and family by a man named Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel who was a French citizen of Tunisian decent.
  12. I got a call today from an old friend who just wanted to check in. We talked for about 3 hours on the phone and caught up on old times. A lot of laughs and a few tears are sometimes good for the soul.
  13. Elie Wiesel has passed away. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/02/world/elie-wiesel-dies/
  14. Thank you for that kindness, I am personally devastated by the horrible mass murder in Orlando on several levels which I won't go into. I am angry because they were watching this guy because he already made terrorist threats. How does this happen?
  15. Thanks. My heart is just broken but I hope she is at peace with her sisters. so much sadness happening right now.
  16. Today I found out that the nice old lady who lives next door was found dead in her car in her garage. God I hope it wasn't suicide because I know she has been very depressed since her two sisters both died a few months apaart. she has always been so kind to me I just feel awful.
  17. Im glad we agree on most things then. What I said when this happened was proven to be true so Im comfortable what I said and Im sorry if that upset you. Have a nice weekend also.
  18. The photos you posted are very nice so thank you for that. I am not whining, people are hurting and my frustration about why this happened isnt just a opinion that I have. I would not make a diffrerent thread for this massacre because too many people here use these things just to shit all over other people the same way with the paris terrorist attacks and why I guess people cant have sensible conversations or threads to talk about their feeling here which is too bad because the world keeps turning. I am frustrated by political correctness because it probably kept the Fbii from stopping this madman and that is all I have left to vent about this.
  19. I don't think there is anything to debate, some beautiful people were slaughtered by a religious fanatic. I see no disrespect in calling that like it is.
  20. Is this thread about history or just any topic now?
  21. I enjoy this tread, I just meant that it seems like people are in fear of saying anything here or making a thread that might offend someone else which is too bad. These people were slaughtered they did not die of old age. So RIP to all who are being killed everyday in the name of religion, any religion.
  22. radical islamic terrorism made me unhappy today
  23. Is this the price we pay for being too politically correct when a savage animal who the governement already knew had ties to islamic terrorism and they still wouldn't do a fucking thing? Now he kills so many beautiful young people and we here are too afraid to make a thread for these victims? Hey here is a thought: people who are MURDERED by evil inspired religious crazies do not rest in peace.
