SOUNDGARDEN Rocking the LA FORUM July 22, 2011
Walter replied to Strider's topic in Other Bands / Music
Sounds like an EPIC show, Strider! I saw them open for Guns back in '91. Grohl is unbelievably cool, probably my favorite current rock musician. He is so down to earth. FYI, John is not in RHCP anymore. Oh well.... Peace. -
I never watched it until you turned me onto it last night with the Gaga info. I see she is performing tonight, so I already have it checked off with "autotune"! Watching NASCAR racehub right now in preparation for this weekends Brickyard 400.

^ Now THAT'S what I call "standing room only"! Look at those guys up top - one wrong step and that's one hell of a fall!!!
-
Aren't Zep also going to be touring, as was said on that other thread by a friend of a friend, to another friend.....
-

Are you saying the lion was trying to eat some pussy, err cat?!? Now I understand the reason for the journey!
-
Nice find, Jahfin!!!! Any idea who she is?
-
Interesting story, BIG DAN. Leave it to those horrible Connecticut drivers to take that cat out after such a long journey. You gotta wonder what made him travel that far, in that direction?

Was the first song "Immigrant Song"? I couldn't make it out very well, but thought I caught part of the riff. It was very cool to see Bonzo's arms pounding away during the brief D&C! -
My in-laws neighbor, who is the GREATEST mother, swears by the ear candles. I have never had it done to me, but I may be trying it soon as water keeps getting trapped in my ears after swimming in the pool. BTW, chronic ear infections are also the number one cause of speech and language disorders/disabilities in children.

I've heard about apple cider vinegar being very useful for many ailments. It does seem that doctors try to rush through an examination/physical way too quickly and as a result i am currently looking for a new general practitioner. After 7 years or so, I grew very tired of his style and his assistant is a royal bitch too! Plus he was too quick to put me on medications instead of trying holistic alternatives or seeing if a physical change/concern could be due to stress or traumatic events (such as the death of a close family member). It's tough to get professional advice, when you don't trust the professional.

Thanks for posting the newspaper article, Knebby + Magic. That was great of RP to play that charitable gig. Cool that he played "Big Log", since Moran was part of those sessions as well.

Thanks for posting it TSRTS. In the other thread, the guys who originally posted it took it down in fear of something....? Peace. -

Those solo discs were pretty brutal. Didn't he actually trick Clapton into playing on "Pros and Cons.." by getting him to play guitar snippets and then put them on the disc? Or was that Beck on "What God Wants". Radio KAOS had a couple good tracks on it, but with Gilmour's "Momentary Lapse.." being released at basically the same time, it was obvious Roger didn't have the musical chops to produce anything remotely as good as what was done with David. He now only tours Floyd music and none of his own material. "The Wall" concert I saw last year was an amazing show though, I do have to give him props on that!
