We just watched the Bad Co. show from the Hollywood Hard Rock concert the other night. Good show, better than I thought it would be!

Didn't say it did, just to have that many songs go to #1 and she wrote them herself should garner some respect - even if you don't like the songs. That's all....

Love her, like her message and respect the fact that she writes her own music/lyrics. I can see the comparisons between her and Madonna, as that is what I thought when she first came around and she is influenced by her among many other artists + fashionable icons. However, to only label her as such is a bit short sighted as no one is a direct replica of another. Peace.

Man, I couldn't believe it when I saw Jr. run out of gas and Harvick pass him for the win! Couldn't come down for an hour or so afterward. He has pretty much run like sh!t there forever and to add another of the crown jewels of racing to his resume (along with the 500, Brickyard, all-star race, road course, etc.) just makes one glaring missing piece - a cup title!!

Tomorrow is Christmas Day for race fans. Eastern time zone schedule is: Monocco at 7:30 a.m., Indy at noon, Coke 600 at 5:30!!!! I'm staying with the 99 again this week, reluctantly!

Well they were the chosen destination for Gov. Rick Scott to sign the state budget and veto some passed bills. The most interesting thing about it was protesters were thrown out as it was deemed a "private event"!?! You can draw any conclusions from that or not.

Watching a very good special on VH1 about Ozzy called 30 years after the blizzard. Incredible Randy Rhodes outtakes. Talk about a HUGE loss!

Van Halen influenced a whole generation of guitarists, like him or not, that doesn't happen very often. Blackmore is awesome, IMO. But he seems to get more respect in Europe (as does Deep Purple) than here in the states. I don't think he is in the same league as Hendrix, Clapton, Page and Van Halen when it comes to influencing other guitarists though.
