Yes, I agree that part in TSRTS was awesome as well as Moby Dick of course. There will never be another drummer like Bonzo!! He is one of a kind and I also thought he was kicking ass on the Knebworth performances and Earls Court too.

I enjoyed watching Supergroup. There was Sebastian Bach being all wild and crazy whereas Jason was one cool cat!! -

Exactly. I didn't even know she has a boyfriend, Robert maybe? (haha just joking). She is very private with her personal life too although she has an 8 yr old son from a previous marriage. Wow, listen at me, sounds like I just gave too much info, LOL!!!!! Anyways back to the show itself, wish I could go. Man, what a lineup!!!!!

I am listening to Carouselambra right now!! It is just an awesome song and I agree with you 100%. I like that they did something different with their sound on ITTOD. I also really love Hot Dog!! I know alot of people don't but that is another one that they were having fun with and it just makes me feel good and it is a cool sing along tune. I would love to see that one done live also.

Melanie_72 replied to Wolfman's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
This is cool, thanks for sharing. Sounds like some promising things may be happening in the future. Didn't know Robert was a basketball fan and I am sure being at MSG brought back some great memories!! -
I second that!

Robert and Alison's Performance of Gone Gone Gone
Melanie_72 replied to Lady Goodman's topic in Pre / Post-Zeppelin Forum
Last night I was watching CMT and saw the commercial of their Crossroads performance and they played a little snippet of "Black Dog" and it sounded like they slowed it down and jazzed it up a bit. Sounds interesting and I cannot wait for it to premiere on Feb 11. Alison even said "I'm sweating a bit". LOL -
Welcome Emerald!! (My dog has the same name, LOL.)

I am going through a little bit of a country music phase, actually watching more CMT (Country Music Television) as of late and alot of it has to do with trying to catch Plant and Krauss. I do like artists like: Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Barbara Mandrell, The Judds, Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss, LeeAnn Rimes, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, some Reba McEntire, the Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain. I also like a little Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker, Randy Travis, George Jones. I know some of those artists are more pop oriented, but I will say they have opened me up to listening to more country. I also forgot to add Patsy Cline, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton---looks like I am a bigger country fan than I thought, LOL!!

Melanie_72 replied to eternal light's topic in Pre / Post-Zeppelin Forum
That sounds great Hank! Thanks so much. I am so happy for everyone who gets to go see this show. I have fallen in love with these two performing together and I hope they come to my area. -
Predictions, thoughts, concerns regarding a 2008 Zeppelin Tour
Melanie_72 replied to JethroTull's topic in Led Zeppelin Live
:blahblah: What sense does any of this make? For the umpteenth time, Robert already had comittments to go on tour with Alison Krauss to promote their CD LONG before any reunion show at the O2! I am really tired of all the criticism against Robert surrounding this and people acting like he is abandoning Zep in favor of touring with AK! I too would love to see him do one final tour with Zep, but first things first and that is his tour with Alison. Nobody needs to twist his arm, so have a little patience please. -
Ditto again! It is such a cool song, different but really good.

Encomium-A tribute to Led Zeppelin
Melanie_72 replied to Bodhisattva's topic in Pre / Post-Zeppelin Forum
I haven't heard the CD since I was back in college when it first came out. I liked Duran Duran's cover of Thank You and Stone Temple Pilot's cover of Dancing Days. -
I was driving home from work when I heard the news. This is very shocking and sad. Heath was a great talent and was excellent in "Brokeback Mountain". May he R.I.P.

I wouldn't even let it bother you. I like who I like and don't let other people's negativity influence me whatsoever.
