  1. ...As a fan, I agree with Social Status part, but practically speaking, Jimmy has worked extremely hard to accomplish Led Zeppelin... Let's see what the "New Project" is...and I definitely do think he will continue to contribute socially to musical events in any event as they have no "risks" involved.... :D
  2. ...No, as if you mean the Royal Albert Hall Performance - Jeff Beck July 4th, but I notice that Crosby Stills and Nash July 1 are at Royal Albert Hall.... I agree with you it is highly unlikely that Jimmy will be present for Jeff Beck on July 4th at Royal Albert hall again, but possible slightly.... It is my opinion that Jimmy seems to be alluding to Professional unions slowly transitional from various social functions, ie. Hall of Fame, Olympics, and now the possibility of Cancer Trust with Pete Townsend...It is also my opinion that Page will "Have To" pursue any professional unions that run "parallel" with Legacy of Led Zeppelin - as His name/reputation is attached with Creation of Led Zeppelin, a historic fact and from public perspective......for that reason I think Jimmy is slowly transitional - really, his greatest dream has already been accomplished, so safety measures are in effect, rightfully... :D It is just us the fans who are extremely eager (and I am sure Jimmy is appreciative) but I totally understand and respect his decision to play safe...as he has greatest responsibility........ Addendum -For this reason, I think Jimmy can certainly be involved in many other ventures, Ie. Composing, writing, ...those are his greatest attributes other than Guitar (I agree with Danny Golberg on this point - as I scanned his article earlier)
  3. Tributes are pouring in from celebrities around the world, Quincy Jones, Madonna.........and more http://indiatoday.intoday.in/index.php?opt...&photocat=2
  4. ....No prob. Glicine......As you can see from my post...I am just a Apprentice-in-the-making....it's long journey from Bombay, I wonder how Zep felt......... :D
  5. ...enjoyed the performances...and a very impressive list...so much to learn... Jimmy Page has mentioned Starvinsky - I am beginning to understand his music, Other than this, two of my most favorite English Themes are Summer Place/Dr. Zhivago... Starvinsky My cultural roots...I was basically conceived on the sounds of classical music - Bombay Symphony Orchestra ... Lost Sessions - My fav...Bombay Symphony Orchestra Four Sticks ...and this is what Zep witnessed when they first visited India '71-'72... a powerful nostalgic classical performance - The Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in U.K. (Concert-Royal Albert Hall - Sonu Nigam/Live) recently resurrected the Classical Famed Bombay Symphony Orchestra - As you probably know The Original Conductor was Zubin Mehta... Absolute Classic of that era..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fP9fwXY-9Aw...79&index=18
  6. Mothership - ship that carries Led Zeppelin, the songs, the musicians,....... all things Zeppelin to the shores of love safely....All of the "Children" are loved eternally, equally, unconditionally.......... :D
  7. ....still have his records from the 70's........nostalgic about you Michael today........
  8. ..I must say over and over again.. Rehman, Oscar Winniing Composer Comments on Michael Jackson http://www.hindu.com/2009/06/27/stories/2009062760061500.htm
  9. ...there is something striking about him...I do love the 60's and 70's rock stars...In these eras men were natural ..there is just something very special about them...some kind of chemistry :D But I must say The King is one of the most beautiful men ever lived on this Planet... http://www.wallpaperbase.com/wallpapers/ce...s_presley_8.jpg
  10. Yes they are...The entire sub-continent of India/Mumbai Film Industry was heavily influenced by Jackson...He was loved on the Streets...Here is a very deserving tribute to him from that part of the world....Satellite T.V. Networks NDTV - India has 24 hrs. coverage......... The entire Film Industry is in shock.... Jackson Visited Mumbai in 1996...It was a star-studed event...... Jackson started with ‘Scream’ and went on to thrill the young crowd with ‘Say Say Say,’ ‘Beat it’ and other numbers, chanting “I love Mumbai” http://www.hindustantimes.com/StoryPage/St...+came+to+Mumbai
  11. ...Badgeholder, even back then there was always a challenging story to get your foot out of the door to see Zep. It wasn't that easy to make it to the venue, youngsters who made it had to be determined all the way.... I am always envious of people who somehow made a plan or somehow God just put them in a historic event, naturally, (yes, I seen it happen to people here, somebody gave them a x-tra ticket) and they followed through it to see Zep back in the 70's...But it wasn't me...it was incredibly difficult to beat my circumstances, but I wonder somehow just how determined I really was........I had only one chance, that was the '77 tour East Coast dates..I was beginning to fall in love with Zep, and I would see kids going cross the border to U.S. to see various concerts, but somehow no body told me about Zep, or I didn't ask, whatever, there was not a story-in-the making
  12. Jimmy at Jeff's B-Day Bash, Happy Birthday to Jeff.. They look so beautiful and happy together....hoping for more as usual........what else... :D enjoy the pic's http://www.rosshalfin.com/diary/june-2009/...y-june-2009.php Timeless.......

  14. I love Michael Jackson ....His dance/music has brought the world closer together....One of the most innovative artists of this century....For sure Film/Music Industries around the world will be shocked...I hope there will be a miracle...looking out for the very special Michael Jackson...His dance is incredible...brings so much joy to the world....
  15. ...slowly, but surely......... I shall check out His Hotness......now... :D
  16. tks for reporting this one Glicine...I was hoping for a gig....perhaps, "it's" getting closer... Happy B to Jeff..
  17. ...mikezep61, thank you for clearing this fact for me to understand the chronological dates more accurately...thank you again... ***Yes, the girl does look Pamela...I was also thinking that Catherine James does have straight hair, all of her pictures...it's more like Pamela...right you are....... :D
  18. ....agreed, I follow and understand your time line....and when I earlier said that Jimmy did connect with both of them back and forth...He dated each of them individually, in two different years...(sorry for the quick entry) ........ Here is Page Score Card Page/Catherine Date/break up....late '68 (Know each other since Yardbirds) Page/Pamela Notice each other Whiskey Jan/69 (they are present in same venue, but there is NO communication reported as per Pamela in I'm With The Band) Pamela/Jimmy OFFICIAL face to face meeting Aug. 1, 1969 Earl Warrens Show Ground, as she reports in I'm with the Band (On July31 at Thee Ex...Pam refuses to meet Jimmy back at Hyatt) ...... Page does visit Catherine in '71 approx. ....as she writes in her book...Jimmy called her after couple of years.... further, in fact, Page and Catherine met again as late as '94...she claims ...and that's the last time I met the ever dazzling Page... Oh.....the Score Card......... (so far there are only two of them, girls...For I like him too, then see what happens..he would circle the Globe, spinning......then how many dates....... :D The woman in the Photos does indeed look like Pamela....but important to know they never met until Aug. 1, 1969... :D
  19. ...Yes, it does.... but highly important are the Las Vegas dates...that FACT stands correct.........She is correct about those entries.... She notices Jimmy at Whiskey, but THEY DO NOT MEET AS PER PREVIOUS discussion........ :D
  20. ....I didn't read the mentioned book, only I'm With The Band...I just realized, after reading you are indeed correct as previous.....Tks. Lot for the clarification on earlier dates... I was concentrating majority of the time in around the Las Vegas/opening Night/Elvis dates.... Beautiful Pictures.... Edited: I have also read Dandelion - There appears to be confusion of dates in his earlier time...it seems he has connected with both of them back and forth.......
  21. ...that would be perfect choice...and for some fun and creativity, I would also like see Jimmy and and Robert sing Girls, Girls....... :D (both versions) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqPI7XKPvxo...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d73fml4chME...feature=related  :D
  22. "Jimmy spent the first two nights after Led Zeppelin`s debut at the Whisky A-Go-Go in Catherine`s house. After that, the band went up to San Francisco, then Jimmy and Pamela Des Barres relationship started at the Hyatt House." http://www.whosdatedwho.com/celebrities/co...-jimmy-page.htm Miss P. From I'm with the Band....... "I wanted to bring in the sexy new year of 1969 with my new unmet friend, Cynthia Plaster Caster of Chicago..." Pg. 127 "there was poster on her wall of a group I had yet to hear of - four gorgeous Englishmen called Led Zeppelin......" She described Jimmy Page...... Pg. 129 First Entry of 1969 is Jan 10 - Reference to Chris Hllman (No ZEP/PAGE AT ALL) NO REF. TO ZEP in FEB/69 AT ALL... VERY FIRST REFERENCE (I posted her entry see - earlier posts)........ APRIL 28, 1969 ....Big news...Led Zeppelin is coming to town, Jimmy Page while I watched him reinvent guitar playing.........After this thrilling display, we made our way to Thee Experience (ZEP/Page hung out - Pam/Page notice each other....No meeting) Aug. 1, 1969 - Pam/Page official conversation/First Meeting, Earl Warren Show Grounds.... ............ Therefore, the Girl with Page and/or in the Audience cannot be Miss. P. Highly likely Catherine James, author of Dandelion.....
  23. ......every possibility had to be ruled out, ....just in case....
  24. Tks. lot Clarksdale, and DazedJeffy...those are incredible memories, loved that article. Roy Orbison is truly missed, ..I think Page should write a book of this era that captures the camaraderie of the these great musicians and their music....it would be a classic....
