  1. http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xc/52373290....383F1FFFA0E746C (Robert on Stage) http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xc/1776749.j...36CA180E9DF733B (Robert and Richard Cole) ...sorry, for the wrong spot...trying to post these beautiful pic's.... (you can view these via link only, looks like...)
  2. Literallly Speaking, Comfort in time of sadness isn't just limited to friendship, it is a human duty regardless....I am sure everybody on this forum are wishing you and your brother the best life has to offer even in time like this....
  3. Derek Trucks well, I thought this was interesting....to "see" my favourite qawal Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on Guitar... (the Soufi qawali is one of most everybody's fav., very popular number. I am only use to listening to it...but great invention) truly unique....
  4. thanks for the audio....I really love listening to Robert, he truly is profound, complete artist, in every sense of the word....(and that includes being HOT!!!) I really enjoyed all of his music selection, from Bulgaria to Blues....VOW Robert, talk about creativity!!!! PS. I loved the lovely Bulgarian Ladies singing, very similar to my roots, as in "Ladies-Only-Singing" at celebrations/festivals Punjab/North India.... always looking forward to hear more from the Legendary Robert Plant!!!
  5. The Oscar winning A.R. Rehman ( Composer - Slumdog Millionaire) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvG7kBeRrJ0 ....sample of his composition in his native land (Lyrics - Gulzar) His counterpart Oscar winning writer/poet
  6. What is and What Should Never Be - I voted this song... ....the feelings transcending through Robert's amazing poetry, paint the picture of romance of the 60's generation:wub: (The song pushes the boundaries of love, so reflective of free-loving generation of the 60's)
  7. ...and one more that is not here so far......
  8. From what I understand so far....Jimmy is not favored by the Yardbirds fan base, Jeff is more favored by "that" fan base, who are aware of this event....I think fans are just fans.....they do take sides regardless how Jeff enters the HOF.... but if Jeff/Jimmy value their friendship...than all the better.... and I do hope they all solve this unfortunate event....it doesn't look for people who have so much $$$$$$$$... very sincerely, sorry, if I didn't make my self clear.....
  9. ....SAJ, Pardon my lack of knowledge/understanding pls.....do you see this as 'concern" in relation to the Induction ceremonies in anyway....I wonder how the Yardbirds fans will be receptive of this...
  10. Good Job Nine...this was good choice along with F.Mercury earlier...nice to see Jeff's videos again...he sure is special........I glanced the list, and I would say, I will have to wait for add on's
  11. The "skill" of Master Qawal Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan: No stone left unturned, not even Mick Jager...all his his fans..from C. Cornell, to Chilli Peppers, and Jeff Buckley, he totally worshiped The Late Master...I am sure they are happy in heaven together..... http://www.dishant.com/jukebox.php?songid=13455 Peace
  12. ...Well, thanks for sharing, what can I say?......... (another "creative idea" ) There is no need to hijack this thread just as yet, I will gladly let anyone hijack this thread after the Hall of Fame Ceremony....I am speculating that Jimmy/manager will have something to say....and than that would be "it" for me as far this forum is concerned.... (we all know that Zeppelin is Over....it is the future plans that deviate from this, I was making my original post about)..
  13. In my opinion No body.... I personally would have like to see "relatively new band", Ie. Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, or someone close to this "territory"...anything out of bounds will not work for Zepplin, for example, recruiting someone that is "like" Robert Plant". It cannot/will not work with fans. Ofcourse, this is just my opinion. Jimmy Page will have to stay close to musicians of his era for perfect chemistry.
  14. I hope so too.... In the new RollingStone issue (U2 cover), it is indicated that recent Beck/Clapton union was very successful and that they "may" book a tour soon .... Perhaps Page will complete the Picture... tks again for your dedication....
  15. ...Tks.Nine, Someone earlier on this board informed me the same, that the magazines are behind in Canada (couple of months at least) I must go to CHAPTERS in the next few days for update...
  16. Thank you AEN27 for your prompt reply...I sure will....
  17. ...Thanks for sharing these amazing photos and informing us of the photo book... I have a question... does this book has many rare photos or is it mostly writing...(I love what you posted so far....) There are so many others, Ie. Neal Preston....(I am sure of this one that I will get) thanks for info...
  18. I have not seen the Jan' Uncut issue yet....I am under the impression that it is still coming, perhaps little late release in Canada/U.S.? Thank you for the update on all the releases....I will see what I can dig....
  19. ...You got that right ILJP, in addition to his "so innocent, yet not..." expressions, I also love the jacket....makes me wana start Sexy Fashionable Jimmy Page, photos  with scarves of course.........
