BUCK'EYE' DOC

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen a thread yet pertaining to the college basketball tournaments and the road to the Final Four. So please excuse me if there already is one in progress. :)

This weekend is tournament time.

Ohio State beat Wisconsin today to keep their hopes alive in the Big Ten Tournament.

Tomorrow we play Michigan State. Go Bucks! :D

^^Go Buckeyes! I lived in Columbus for several years and really loved it, so I will always have a soft spot for Ohio State! My favorite team for many years is the North Carolina Tar Heels; has been since Michael Jordan played for them while he was in college! :D

Haa! Me too! On both counts! I used to live in Cleveland but I live in Carolina and have since just before MJ started playing for the Heels.

Go Heels!!!!!!!

Hi Melanie 72 and Rorer 714,

Ohio State did make it to the Big 10 Tournament championship game.

They played today against Purdue and lost by 4 points. :(

It was a close game and they played well.

Just heard on TV that Louisville Cardinals are the NCAA Torunament's overall number one seed.

They are playing in the midwest region.

Pitt is a number one seed, as well as North Carolina and UConn.

There are tons of free online bracket contests. Sportsline, ESPN, most newspapers online websites.

Thanks for posting the brackets; we'll be rooting for the ACC teams to do well :)

Free contests all over the place. I just filled out two, one at ESPN and one at CBS sportsline. I have Pittsburgh on one and Syracuse on another. Of course Syracuse is my sentimental choice. I have to cheer for them. They are the home team and my daughter graduated from there. But, realistically, I have a better chance of hitting the lottery than them going all the way IM sure. But they always have been a good underdog.

Yeah, possible I see based on the bracket. I must say, this young Syracuse team has a bright future but I will admit it would be an upset of huge proportions to beat NC. Just like it will for the Browns to beat the now T O Buffalo Bills. :D

We did sneak one away from you last year! :o

If you get through Oklahoma,I might worry......................not really! :P

Hi BuckeyeDoc!

I watched the end of that game yesterday,Perdue was just too strong.

I have a very good friend that works at the Cleveland Clinic and he was worried that the Buckeyes weren't gonna make the field.I told him not to worry, they'll be there.I called him during the selection show last night and told him the good news. ;) He's a happy camper! I also turned him into a Heels fan so it's all good!!!!!!!

many a big upset happens in this tournament need I remind you Rorer? Be carefull dude. SU has nothing to lose and all to gain. Can never take them lightly. And since Im always being reminded about my teams never winning, let me remind you all, SU 2003 National Champs. Baltimore Orioles, world champions, '83, 70, ;66. And very soon this guy!

You don't need to remind me Yuk.I've seen it happen many a time. You can't take anyone lightly in this tournament...A #1 seed has never been beaten by a 16 seed in this tournament. It's bound to happen sooner than later! (I hope it's not us this year)

TO is going to bring down the Bills like 'wide right' B)
