paul carruthers
^^ Yeah, I was thinking it's been a short lived debut for Bob Griffin. Maybe he'll get loose on this next series...

Walter
A 3rd turnover for the Redskins, starting to remind me of last night's game!
ebk
I think the Taters forgot to set the alarm clock...
Walter
^ Yeah the foreskins look a bit limp tonight! Here comes Alfred Morris though - he's a tough SOB!
paul carruthers
Griffin just doesn't look right so far, I don't know if he's scared or rusty or both, but I'm hoping he'll get it going...
ebk
Griffin just doesn't look right so far, I don't know if he's scared or rusty or both, but I'm hoping he'll get it going... I hope for him, he's okay. But really, local radio will be waaaay more entertaining if he's not...
paul carruthers
^^ I have to ask, do the local radio jocks call them the "Taters"?
ebk
^^ I have to ask, do the local radio jocks call them the "Taters"? Actually, the only sports-type show I listen to with any regularity is hosted by Tony Kornheiser. This is where the term "Taters" started and now the little community of listeners I hang out with calls them The Taters. I honestly don't ever think about it anymore...it's their name! Walter
It's knocking off the rust of not playing preseason at all. He should be fine in the 2nd half, definitely next week he'll be up to speed.
paul carruthers
Well, if nothing else goes right, I can say the Redskins cheerleaders look to be in fine form.
LedZeppfan77
I think I am the only person on Earth that has the Chargers
paul carruthers
14-7 Chargers & my Monday Night picks seem to be headed for the toilet.
LedZeppfan77
14-7 Chargers & my Monday Night picks seem to be headed for the toilet. I heard they blew a 21 pt lead? I had them too. Bills and Chargers both should have won
Walter
Bills and Chargers both should have won Only if the game is less than 60 minutes. You have to play the whole 60 to win, just ask the Bucs!
Strider
I thought Reggie Bush would be a great pickup for Detroit and he definitely helped them Sunday. On a yards per touch basis, he played better than Adrian Peterson. Now to see how real Detroit is when they go on the road to Arizona. Speaking of real vs. mirage...is Oakland really better than we thought or is Indianapolis not as good as advertised? Maybe a little of both. I had Oakland pegged at 4-12 this season and one of those four victories should come this week in the form of Jacksonville. After KC rolled the Jaguars, if the Raiders don't do the same at home, all the optimism from last Sunday's performance will dissipate and it'll be 'Same old Raiders' again. I didn't watch any of the MNF games, so I've no idea about the Iggles, Taters, Texans yet. I know I'm not the only one who expected the Texans to whoop the Chargers, and was mildly disappointed with the score.
paul carruthers
I didn't watch much of the game but I expected the Texans to roll the Chargers. Wonder if this will be another year of a good regular season then a quick exit from the playoffs for Houston. But if anyone is going to get rolled, you would think it will be Thursday night when the Jets go to the Patriots. The Jets are feeling pretty good after that gift Tampa gave them. Can't wait to see all that good feeling go straight down the drain after the Pats whoop 'em.
Strider
^^^ Not sure about that...with a short week it might be closer than you think. I think New England will win but the spread is 12.5...not willing to concede that many points.
Walter
^ Plus their #1 receiver is out, Vereen is out and I doubt Gronk will be ready. That really limits a limited offense already.
LedZeppfan77
I will be in Buffalo at the Carolina game. I am sure the seats are good. I will try and learn from my daughter the where abouts. So you can look for my fool lass with a bag over my head wearing my Orioles jersey
