kingzoso
That end is nothing. Mock Me all you want but this is a baseball topic that you started. Just because you dislike Me for whatever reasons, again, this is about baseball and that includes the Saint Louis Cardinals and how They have been the Best Team in all of the Major Leagues since Spring Training. I suggest that in the future if you feel the need to start a topic then be ready for any and all posts that you may agree or disagree with. There is no reason for name-calling or inane, idiotic, etc... comments just because your team again fails to make the Post-Season. I would think that a man in his late 60's would have a bit more intelligence to what he posts on a Led Zeppelin forum, a forum really devoted to Led Zeppelin and not a forum devoted to politics or baseball, but about the Mighty Led Zeppelin. This post is directed toward strider. I guess a "no comment" is really more incriminating than "a comment". Since I know that you read this but decided not comment, that, to Me, says a lot about you. GO CARDINALS!!!

Strider
I think SF can still pull off a wild card spot.Dude, the Giants are 10 games behind the Cubs for the second wild card spot and they only have 12 games left! That's some king-sized delusion you're under.
jb126
Two things I refuse to own...a rally monkey and thunder stix. One of them (monkeys) found his way over to the east coast. That's a long walk. His name is Jeffrey.

redrum
he may have been confused and was referring to the 49'ers... I was looking at the current standings. The wild card is a different formula. But hope springs eternal.
paul carruthers
I think the Astros were the feel good story of MLB until about a week or so ago--Rangers sweep 'em, and the Angels and Twins suddenly have life as Houston has a tenuous grasp on that 2nd AL Wild Card.... Walter
Good luck! Yanks and Jays having another amazing playoff vibe game...0-0 after 5 complete.
LedZeppfan77
Machado just hit a two run shot to overtake the Nats again and 500 could come back tomorrow. No quit. Cubs now number one in power rankings. Anything can happen in sports
Strider
I was looking at the current standings. The wild card is a different formula. But hope springs eternal. With the Giants loss tonight, San Francisco is now seven games behind the Dodgers. With the iffy bullpen of the Dodgers, catching them remains feasible, I suppose. But if SF survives the Wild Card game, the Giants will then have to face the #1 seed St. Louis Cardinals....and Bumgarner would only be available for one game. A completely different scenario than last year.
paul carruthers
Well, the O's took a chunk out of the Nats, but Mets could not capitalize as the offense went cold in the series with the Bravos. Now we go to the Great American Smallpark & hopefully the O will wake up for that 4 game set... paul carruthers
Forgot to add, only 10 games left in the season for the Mets--a little hard to believe, it seems like only yesterday I was waiting for Spring Training to end and the real season to begin. Should be some fun postseason October baseball coming up...

jimmie ray
Toronto Blue Jays!!!!!A relentless batting lineup, that has not faltered, and appears to have the division locked up. If they can maintain this, against post-season pitching, it will make for some exiting series. Good luck to your team.
