Flyingzepp
We started jamming this one day, and it worked our way into the set, it isn't note for note, but sure as hell is fun to play. Enjoy.

Jahfin
A different take on A-ha's "Take On Me" that every Zeppelin fan will be able to appreciate (or maybe not).
Jahfin
Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, the Frames) covered this at the tribute to R.E.M. held at Carnegie Hall in 2009. Seems it's since become part of his set. Not sure if he's actually recorded a studio version of it or not but that sure would be nice. http://youtu.be/hP4IPWm-f90

When is the band coming to Florida for a show? Lots of Neil Young fans here.

J PS Billy's tour is done today...I sent him a tweet but he didn't reply..oh well...better to have tweeted and lost than never tweeted at all I misinterpreted the title I thought it meant good songs to cover...but I see after viewing some posts that it's good covers of songs..therefore I will substitute the DWM tune and suggest Mr. Idol does a good cover of L.A. WOMAN by The Doors,, Edited July 24, 2012 by Juliet
yeldd
Most of Led Zeppelin's first LP like Dazed and Confused, I Can't Quit You Babe, re working on Black Mountainside etc are all really good covers from the originals.
SweetLittleBaby
Not sure if it's been mentioned or not, but Rush's covers of the Yardbirds' Shapes of Things and Heart Full of Soul from their Feedback album are great.

Virginia
Bizarre Love Triangle cover by Frente (originally by New Order) The cover, which I like much better: The original:
Jahfin
I always wanted to buy Frente's album but never did get around to it. As for New Order, I know they're beloved by millions but their brand of synth music (no matter how sophisticated or intelligent) never really appealed to me. Same thing for Depeche Mode and similar electronic and/or industrial type bands. That's not meant as a slight against those that are fans of that type of music, it just never did much for me.
