Hi Everyone

I just joined but have been going to zep shows for a lot of years also the solo shows .I missed the 02 reunion . I hope they tour the US if they do i plan to catch a couple of shows but in the meantime i plan to go to jazzfest to see Robert and Alison . So far my favorite Zep show would be baton rouge 77

only because its one of the smallest venues i ever got to see them play. The New Orleans 73 show was pretty good but it got a little radical here and there. My favorite Robert solo perfomance is a toss up between nashville 05 the Ryman has great acoustics.Robert said he had been trying to play there for 30 years and they finally left the back door open.My other favorite would have to be hampton coliseum virginia 88 .Oops have to add another favorite biloxi mississippi beau rivage casino verry small venue no bad seats but acoustic not as good as Nashville.Page/Plant Tupelo mississippi small civic center good seats decent acoustics.I regret i have not got to see john paul solo yet but one day i hope to after the reunion.sorry this was so long but i am so excited new site so much energy mostly positive surrounding the band.Tight but loose rules Dave Lewis you are the man. Sam your the man too. what ever happened to zoso magazine and proximity.ZEPPELIN FANS ROCK

Welcome aboard neighbor. I was at the 77 BR show as well.

it was great i have a small piece of not so great video of that show do you remmeber the interesting time getting tickets. we got high under a blanket freezing our tails off.on ticket getting day the crowed knocked over the barricades and several people got trampled underfoot literally.then when we went to the show the band showed up a little late.Robert said it was due to traffic and that they would make it up by playing a long great set and they would come back in july to play the dome.I wound up following them around the country again catching as many shows as i could.i submitted a few pictures from the show to the site my e mail is alwizard2004@yahoo.com

take care

Lol How could I forget, me and a bunch of friends went up the night before in two vans and froze all night & day long in the sleet and drizzle. I remember standing in line near the box office window and turning around just in time to see one of my padners smack a parked car while driving in front of the assembly center . Had tickets for the dome show, Oh well got to see Plant/Page tour at UNO Lakefront Arena in 94 or 95 Here's a pic of the seats we had it was like sitting in your living room watching a live show only two seats in the row about 100 feet from the stage

see the red dots in the pic where we sat.

Man that was a helluva show,we went sat night. The thing I remember most was when Plant came out singing the first verse of "House of the Rising Sun" that got the crowd on their feet. They kicked ass that night. I don't know if my memory serves me right, but I swear the crowd roared non stop through that show. I think maybe it was held in since july of 77 when they cancelled the Dome show. :D

Man video! I've been looking for a recording of that show for ever. I know the Mushroom on Broadway used to carry alot of import stuff of shows bands performed here but were only released in the UK. I'm glad you posted that, I couldn't remember the exact dates. I sure miss all the kickass shows we used to get down here. Maybe Jihndal can get this state back on the map again and "Willie" Nagan could start promoting some "ROCK" shows for the city.
