Jarlaxle 56
Yeah, seen that before. Pretty fucked up song in my opinion.
TypeO
One of my favorite songs from the 70's scorching guitar licks - killer jam
fenderguy
I always got a kick out of that song.
the queen without a king
It's a weird song..I kinda like it but it kinda gets on my nerves at the same time. They have another song called 'Sylvia' which I really like...at least I think that's by Focus.
Rock Action
I'd rather nail my head to the coffee table while boiling my nuts in hot oil than listen to that shit.
jimmie ray
I'll take yodeling and popeye impersonations, when coupled with good jamming, over meaningful lyrics with uninspiring instrumentals, anytime!
Aspensound
I'd rather nail my head to the coffee table while boiling my nuts in hot oil than listen to that shit. OUCH..... and yodeling..

What about nailing your nuts to the table and boiling your head?
Wesley
Focus were a fine progrock band and that Jan Akkerman's an excellent guitarist. If you're unconvinced by the song, Hocus Pocus, listen to their BBC show of January 7, 1973. They're right in there with the best of that era's progressive rock bands. Rock Action
What about nailing your nuts to the table and boiling your head? As long as I don't have to listen to this song ever again I'll work with you. Sorry fans. This is just one of those songs that turns my stomach AND the radio station the minute it comes on. But hey, obviously there are people out there that do enjoy it. Whatever floats yer boat.
Styrbjorn
I'd rather nail my head to the coffee table while boiling my nuts in hot oil than listen to that shit. I feel the same way about the Zeppelin 1977 and 1980 tours. We have something in common.

TRB
It lightens the mood for me whenever it comes on, though that isn't that often. I just like to yodel and screech along for shits. Good instrumental play.

This is just one of those songs that turns my stomach AND the radio station the minute it comes on. But hey, obviously there are people out there that do enjoy it. Whatever floats yer boat. I totally see your point. I enjoy listening to it, but always thought of the song as a bit of a gimmick (novelty??) and that probably stopped me from exploring any further.
