JethroTull
Starting around 1968 and ending in 1978 I worked as a stage hand/roadie/lighting tech for all the big venues in and around NYC. I worked 7 days a week. Morning till night. Madison Square Garden, The Capitol Theater, Nassau Colesium, The Calderone Theater, Fillmore East, The Academy of Music a.k.a. The Paladium. Also did some shows at CBGB's, The Ritz and some of the other smaller venues. We were union and proud of it. I saw EVERYBODY several times. Alice Cooper had the best groupies. ALL the bands tossed groupie scraps our way and we had our fun. Drugs, I did 'em all. Lot's of 'em. I got boxes and boxes of stuff in storage, autographed 8X10 press pictures, drumsticks, underwear, signed LP's. Plus some stuff I robbed, sorry Mr. Bowie. Zappa was very polite. I almost forgot.....the after show parties....the lights are out, everybody is naked. I'm not exactly sure who I was kissing.....nuff said....
