That's an impressive list for the small amount of time and capital invested, almost 200 performances. And you want more shows? Spoken like a true zepileptic! How the hell can anyone get a good idea of how LZ sounded live if all they have is just 200 bootlegs? I recommend at least 100 more.

Right away, I notice you don't have 1/5/69 - LA (Whiskey A Go Go), which is a must-have. And you may as well get the other two Earls Court 75 gigs, the other two LA 77 gigs you're missing.

Also Philadelphia in 75 was not in August 2, it is Feb. 8 (edit: just noticed you have it in two places).

Impressive list! I'd say 3/19/73 Berlin, and the remaining LA '77 performances, as Solar said. And your "Live from the Alamo" listing at the bottom of '73 says it contains Fort Worth, but does it have the complete performance from 5/19/73? Because that's a great show, better the previous night in Dallas...

Hmm, I have the Swingin Pig label in front of me and it says "New York October 22nd 1988" Very weird.

You should look into it... I'm not saying you're wrong, but bootlegs are sometimes released under the wrong date.

I don't know where you're at in terms of your taste for bootlegs, but IMO you're missing alot of great 1969 shows... all of which are either great performances, great sound quality, or both.

1969-01-05 Whiskey A Go-Go

1969-01-11 San Francisco

1969-01-26 Boston

1969-02-14 Miami

1969-04-24 San Francisco

1969-07-06 Newport Jazz Festival

1969-07-21 New York

EDITED TO ADD:

Regarding your 1970 recordings... I could be wrong but I don't think either of your Royal Albert Hall 1970-01-09 lables have Heartbreaker on them... and that is simply a must have. Get the Kevin Shirley mix

I am sorry, the label is wrong. As supporting documentation, I have the following from my collection that says he was in Detroit on that date:

1. Video of concert.

2. 4 separate audio sources of concert.

3. Newspaper promo for concert.

4. Ticket stub.

I have that bootleg with the wrong label, too. Unfortunately, I have not compared it to the other 34 dates I have bootlegs from that tour to be able to tell you what show it actually is.

Here's the ticket for reference:

-If your Hamburg boot does not have the SBD portion, seek it out.

-1973.05.13 Mobile, AL - Get the dadgad remaster!

1973.07.13 Detroit, MI

1980

-Frankfurt is June 30th.

You only truly need one more. The legendary BBC Sessions disc 2 show. I'm too lazy to look up the date right now, but the boot I have of this (sourced from the original, professional tapes) is far better than the official recording... It has like 3 songs more and no edits at all.

Damn dude where do you fit all these??? I to keep mine in jewel cases with art and my shelf is getting quite full

My buddy worked at a record shop and they were throwing out some old display racks... I thought it was a pretty cool place to keep em, so thats where I keep em!

Thanks too everyone, You've been so helpful, You know who you are :D

I keep them in a 120 CD case and a 40 cd case in the loft at the moment. It's very addictive collecting them and making them up. One more thing, Is there a simple list that shows all zeppelin's tour dates in order that I can compare too? I have Dave Lewis's Concert File book but would be great to have a proper list. I have searched but nothing suitable has come up.

Thanks again

Dean

Led Zeppelin LIVE by Luis Rey (3rd edition) lists most if not all 580 some odd shows LZ performed in chronological order between September '68 and July '80. The Concert File book is excellent, especially if you have the magazine-sized version instead of the one that's about half the size of a paperback.

That's a pretty amazing list you have there No.1ZeppelinFan! I've only recently started collecting myself, but I'm limiting myself to the good sound quality ones. I've stopped, but after seeing your list, I'm thinking I may have to start again, since I'm missing so much! B)
