I'm doing well, thank you! As for the weather in my neck o' the woods right now... I don't mind the chill. Cold weather has never bothered me. Heat on the other hand, that's a different story.

I'm vaccinated. Team Moderna for the win. I'll get my booster shot when I'm eligible. I live with and take care of my elderly parents, both of whom have such a boatload of health issues that the Big Nasty would put them six feet under within a week. Yes, they got their shots. I don't understand what's difficult about getting vaccinated, you've already been vaccinated for polio, the measles, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, the mumps, chickenpox, and if you're over a certain age, smallpox. You get pneumonia shots, flu shots, and if you've had the chickenpox and you're over 50, the shingles vaccine. This is no different. Am I annoyed at having to still wear a mask in public, over a year and a half later? Sure, but it is what it is. If a surgeon can wear one for a 10-hour procedure and not pass out, I think I can wear one to walk around the grocery store. *shrugs* You do you, boo-boo. Just do you 6 ft. away from me and over thataway. I have neither the time nor the desire to get into an argument with anyone about this. If you're not vaccinated by now, you're never going to be, and if you don't wear a mask in public by now, you're never going to. I just worry about me and mine and hope the bubble we've surrounded ourselves with holds firm.

Adele's new album. She's one of the few artists whose material I look forward to getting. So far, I really like it. I can see similarities between it and her previous couple of albums, but it's also different at the same time. A different tone, I suppose.

Physical Graffiti LZ IV Presence In Through the Out Door / Houses of the Holy (tie) LZ II LZ I LZ III In Through the Out Door gets a bad rap, I think. It's not their best album, but I don't think it's their worst either. I put it tied with Houses of the Holy for solidly middle of the pack. I think LZ III is their weakest album, only because while I think they did acoustic stuff really well, a whole album of it? Ehh. The best song on the album, IMO, is Since I've Been Loving You, and it sounds far better live than it does on the album. That's not a knock necessarily, just that most if not all of their material shines far brighter in a live setting.

My dad was going through his record collection the other day and found a copy of Are You Experienced, still in shrink wrap. Just the side had been removed to get the sleeve out, but otherwise, it was just like it was in the record store when he bought it. We put it on his turntable, and let me tell you....Purple Haze sounds really, REALLY good coming out of two huge cabinet speakers.
